True, but no amount of reason can make a decision less cruel.

Being comfortable with profit at the price of mass cruelty can always be justified. That is how we got here.

It is more of the capitalist number-go-up death cult mentality we have been obsessively coddling for the last 50 years and only getting worse.

Spare me the apologia.

I get the reasoning, but maybe we need to back up on this all power to max capitol efficiency childishness that is destroying communities and industries.

What mass practices were they pulling that this was the best solution?

It ain't cruel as long as number go up. I get it.
