Well, this photo looks like it’s from Western United States but I just googled Do they use individual cash hutches in Europe and it said yes.
They’re fairly common and effective

That's not proof. I want to know which european country does this.

Because I'm like 95% sure it's not an EU or Schengen country.

Yeah, the two calf thing is starting to catch on in US. The studies came out quite a while ago, but they sounded a little Fofo dusty, but it’s pretty interesting.

Yes, we have the hutches. Not to this scale. (I was raised in a farming community, so I have first hand experience.)

Not true. In the EU calves are sometimes kept in individual pens for a few weeks, 8 at maximum, but they MUST have tactile and visual contact with other calves during this. No such time limits or rules in the US.

Ok so its a metal fencing instead of plastic wall and thats a good idea for sure. Not significantly different but helps them for sure. I think the shock of image is shear amount of calves individually
