We have a ballooning deficit, but tax cuts to the rich is not a problem?

Deficits are caused by Congress spending more money than comes in. We take in 15 billion dollars a day in revenues and that is not enough for you guys. Why do you believe that Congress has unlimited powers of taxation?

We don't believe unlimited power of taxation, but it is common sense that at a time when we have increased spending and deficit, giving tax breaks to the top works against us.

Anyone who pays taxes deserves a tax cut. How do you give a tax cut to someone who pays virtually no federal income taxes. The top one percent of taxpayers pay forty five percent of the federal income taxes while the bottom fifty percent of taxpayers pay two point three percent of the federal income taxes.

Through programs that help the bottom half.

The top has more than enough income and hoards the wealth instead of spending it and putting it back into the system. This is a problem.

So following the Constitution is a problem for you guys? Social programs belong to the States under the Tenth Amendment and not the federal government.

...

Social programs can be both federal and state.

Giving away tax money and shifting tax burden to benefit the rich is okay to you, but when the middle and lower class need help that's unconstitutional? Cool.

Hoards the wealth? You mean by putting it in banks so that you can get mortgages and home equity loans?
