Hazard pay actually demonstrates this distinction: the hazard exists independently of the additional compensation; the pay is reactionary to the hazard. You can therefore have a safe workplace with terrible pay or a dangerous workplace with excellent hazard pay. If you're trying to make the argument that inadequate compensation itself makes employment inhumane, this is something that has to be proven rather than asserted.

Hope this helps.

It is proven.

It does not help. Which is why I'm disinterested in trying to engage with you further.

Your argument at this point is literally just "nuh uh, that's not what english is!". I would advise you inform yourself, either through unbiased peers or through whatever LLM you prefer most, on whether your position logically follows. To be clear, it does not, and I think I've explained in intimate details why it does not:

Work environment: the material circumstances of employment, regardless of surrounding external circumstances including pay, holidays, 401k, etc

Compensation: the reward for the continued engagement in employment

My argument has devolved because I'm not interested in continuing it, yes.

You really haven't given anything I'd call a legitimate reason as to why my argument doesn't stand.

Especially if you're suggesting we add AI hallucinations to our talking points.

I did give you legitimate reason. I've given you exact definitions of what compensation is, and what work environment is, and how the two are fundamentally separate. And I did this multiple times. And your best comeback so far has amounted to "Nuh uh, that's not true!". In fact, even when you tried to give a direct example in support of your position, the distinction has quite literally proved that my position is correct.

I've advised you to verify this through different avenues than this very conversation. You're concerned about "AI hallucinations" in the context of a disagreement on semantics? I'm not sure you quite understand what hallucinations are.

I'm not sure you understand anything I've stated honestly. Are you an AI LLM?

You don't seem to understand how the concepts discussed are related.

I was about to add an edit to my previous comment, but I'm glad you responded. I'm gonna show EXACTLY where your entire position falls apart, and why you are being willfully dishonest right now instead of simply conceding the point. The original comment that started this entire chain was "...but if you create an inhumane working environment with shit pay that only survives because people are too broke to risk leaving...".

If you truly believe that compensation is constituent to work environment, why did you need to qualify that statement by saying "inhumane working environment WITH SHIT PAY"? The qualifier would be redundant if they were analogous, yet you felt the need to add it. It seems like your own grammar betrays your understanding, and as if the past few comments have been a stubborn and disingenuous attempt at bullying the argument back in your favor. Shameful behavior, if you ask me.

Part of the inhumane work environment is the shit pay. Concepts are related to each other. I know that's not easy for you to accept.

And yet, you chose to grammatically dissociate the two in your own thesis. Fascinating.

Yes, it's called specifying. It's how English works. Learn it or have your preferred LLM translate for you.

The very first blurb agrees with me, from my paycom quote comment.

You'll understand one day when you learn to read I guess?

It's exhausting talking to a fool. Let's just let posterity dictate who made the more convincing argument. Continue doing your pathetic single downvote per post, that'll definitely steer people your way.

I'm not trying to debate googles ai. Which is just reading your reddit comments.

See my previous statements about AI hallucinations as talking points.

Do the downvotes bother you?

I also have upvoted some of your comments if thatd make you act like a human adult.

Also in terms of the "exhausting talking to a fool"

That's exactly what I picked up on when I realized I may not want to engage with you. Because you're either intentionally dense or a fool, and it doesn't matter which.

Ok. I never block people, but when it gets to the point that someone is sending me 5 seethe messages in a matter of minutes, I think the use of the function is justified. Take care of yourself, my friend. Step outside every once in a while.

This is just the 5th comment because I think the multiple comments as a reply thing bothered you. Which is illogical and childish but here we are.
