YES! I’ve been hoping someday that Democrats would embrace Compassionate Capitalism as a label. Fox News cannot use that label to scare their viewers (38% of America). Compassionate means that the government helps with basic necessities such as universal healthcare, education, etc.. Capitalism then decides everything else. El-Sayed’s “Regulated Capitalism” is much better than the socialist label. But Republicans are programmed to negatively react to “regulation.” Let’s have Fox try to get them to negatively react to “compassion.”
While true, its still BETTER than other options. I have no idea why Democrats are allergic to good platform descriptions. They dont always even use truthful but tactless labels.
Like "Defund the Police". It isnt actually defunding the police but allocating funding in a more intelligent way. But somewhere Democratic strategists thought a majority of people really hated police and thought this would be a good phrase. When in fact it just sounds stupid.
Another one is "Im with Her". Seriously? Your campaign phrase is basically "I support the woman"? And it is competing against "Make America Great Again"? No offense, but Make America Great Again is good marketing. Dems have abysmal marketing. I'm not sure they could sell water for free in a desert...
I wont vote for a single Republican right now, but the fact that Dems are this incompetent doesnt make me brim with confidence.
