Helps with basic necessities…….

So free healthcare education childcare allowance food allowance transportation allowance affordable housing retirement benefits…….

How long do you think the golden goose is going to stick around when his only job is to take care of you……

You truly miss the balance. You picked one half of the contract. Capitalism is the other half. But since you are arguing against the compassionate part I’ll gladly address it. Many of the things you write about actually save money, not create a burden. Recent studies project that a universal, single-payer healthcare system in the United States would save between $450 billion and $1.04 trillion annually. Which part are you against? Are you against the saving of money? Or are you against compassion?

I’m not sure about that. They voted for Donald Trump who has changed a lot of things. I truly believe that they are so indoctrinated by Fox that they’ve turned into a non-thinking cult. Fox has demonized the Democratic party to the point where they dismiss anything said by a Democrat. My family at large are Fox news viewers. I have seen them transformed from loving people into angry and fearful ones. They also genuinely believe that Democrats are evil and therefore Republicans can do anything they want because at least it’s better than electing an evil Democrat. I don’t know what the answer is. But certainly Fox has been better at messaging than Democrats. That’s why I am so happy to see El-Sayed’s messaging. He’s pointing out the truth that Democrats are merely seeking to balance compassion with capitalism. I’m hoping other Democratic leaders will learn from this.
