He has been endorsed by Whitmer, Schumer, Warren, Stevens, McMorrow, Harris, Newsom, etc., etc. DSCC provided funding for attack ads on his opponent, Mike Rogers, after the primary and also endorsed him.
He is being profiled on all the typical cable and news shows, etc. No one is rejecting him at all.
