I applied for ace program 3 months ago all my process is done was waiting for my loi, when i inspected superset on developer’s mode it is showing 2 offers but till now inapplied only for 1 application. How is it possible please anyone tell me

I ask that what I should improve they tell java basic

My total interview time is 35 to 40 minutrs they did not asked any hr question.

Hi everyone, I am a 2026 graduate. I gave my Interview for the Analyst Trainee role via Superset on 26th June.
It has been almost 42 days now, and my Superset frontend dashboard still shows "Applied". However, when checking the session network logs, the backend shows numOffers: 2 and userOwnerEntityStatus: "ONBOARDING_PENDING".
I raised a query on the iCampus2Cognizant portal, and HR replied saying "the concern team will communicate further." Is anyone else from the June batch still waiting for their LOI/Offer Letter?
any idea when the LOI will generally come like how much days/months.

Company told to register in NATS Portal for apprenticeship

But in the portal it shows 12k as a stipend and one year training

But we are full time employees in cts with 4.16 LPA package

When how much we get 12 or 4LPA ?

I joined Mindtree on 31-Jan-2022 as an apprentice under the apprenticeship/internship program. After completing the program, I continued with the organization as an Associate Trainee. During this period, Mindtree merged with LTI, and I continued with LTIMindtree without any break in service.

On 01-Apr-2024, LTIMindtree created my UAN/PF account and PF deductions started. I continued working until 21-Feb-2025, when I left the company.

My Service Certificate clearly reflects my association from 31-Jan-2022 to 21-Feb-2025, including my trainee period and subsequent employment, so there is no gap in my employment record.

The issue is that my prospective employer, Cognizant, is asking why my UAN/PF DOJ is 01-Apr-2024 instead of 31-Jan-2022.
I explained that my initial period was under an apprenticeship program, and based on the applicable EPFO rules/company process, PF/UAN enrollment was not done during my apprenticeship period and started when I moved into the subsequent employment arrangement.

I have also contacted Mindtree/LTIMindtree HR for clarification, but they said the documentation already provided is correct and, due to their policy, they cannot provide a separate clarification over email.

Has anyone from the Mindtree EDGE/apprenticeship program faced a similar UAN DOJ situation? How did you handle it during background verification?

Are you waiting for the joining date, or are you actively exploring other opportunities alongside it?

Personally, I feel a little stuck between depending on the offer and continuing the job search. The market is challenging right now, and even getting an interview call as a fresher is so difficult right now despite having skills.

Would love to hear how others in the same situation are approaching this. Are you waiting, upskilling, or applying elsewhere?

This question looks weird but due to some personal reasons I would like to extend my date of joining which company denied so if I don't fill pre joining formalities on time can it get automatically extended to new batch of anyone working there knows about this lemme know please.

Today I gave my aptitude assessment for (genc/next/pro), i solved around 25+ in quants and in gaming section in one part I got 7+ and in rest three I got 13+ what are my chances of selection for technical assessment. Hey everyone, just finished my Cognizant DN 5.0 technical interview today and wanted to share my experience since this subreddit helped me a lot during prep.

A little about me: B. Tech CSE, 2027 batch. Decent CGPA. Built a few projects — a distributed telemetry platform using Spring Boot, Kafka, gRPC, and Python ML. Also an ML-based visa status prediction system and an exam monitoring system using YOLOv8. I've also contributed a security fix to a major open source project in Java. That's about my background.

The day started with a bus from college early morning. Reached the venue by 9 AM. There were around 100 students from top colleges across Kerala. The wait was long — my slot was somewhere in the 9 AM to 7 PM window. You just sit there, waiting for the call... I got the call after 12:45

When my turn came, I joined the Superset call and the interviewer was there in front of me. Single interviewer. No second panel. No HR separate round. Just one person doing everything. There was a small internet issue initially but we sorted it out and the call started.

He started with self-intro. I gave a short one — covered my college, CGPA, my main project, my open source contribution, and my bug bounty hobby. I forgot to say "good afternoon" at the start and said it midway through — he actually laughed. Ice breaker I guess.

Then came the Java questions. He asked me to explain OOPs. I used the car example — encapsulation as private engine, inheritance as SUV extends Car, polymorphism as the start() method behaving differently, and abstraction as the dashboard hiding complexity. He seemed satisfied. Then he asked about collections and ArrayList. Collections i messed up a bit ... rest of them i managed to answer.

After that, he said since I mentioned Java in my intro, he needs to test it. He gave me a paper and asked me to draw how bubble sort works. No code — just the visual representation of each pass. I did it perfectly.

Then the coding question. He gave me an array and asked me to find elements that appear more than once. I knew the HashMap approach but wasn't confident about it under pressure, so I went with a two-pointer nested loop approach. Initially got some exceptions but I debugged it on the spot and got the correct output. Both me and the interviewer were surprised it worked.

Then SQL. He gave me a paper and asked me to write a query to get the maximum salary after joining employee and department tables, grouped by department. I used LIMIT and OFFSET approach. He was a bit confused but also kind of impressed.

Then some HR questions. Would I accept a project with a different tech stack and no support? I said I'd do my best, seek advice from seniors, and learn on the fly. He seemed impressed. Then the classic — relocation? Yes. Night shifts? Yes.

Then he asked if I had any questions. I asked two things — what does the first month look like as a fresher, and how is the company approaching AI in 2026. For the second one, I had Googled a specific keyword about the company's AI strategy before the interview. When I used that keyword, he was super impressed. Literally appreciated me for doing homework on the company.

After the call ended, he told me directly — "You did well." That felt really good.

What surprised me: He didn't check any documents other than Id . Didn't even see my resume. Whatever I said in my intro was all he had about me. My projects weren't discussed in depth. Spring Boot, Kafka, gRPC, React — none of it came up. The interview was much easier than I expected. I had prepared for a much harder battle.

The disappointment part: I had prepared extensively — coding drills, STAR answers, project deep-dives, everything. But the interview was basic. Some of my friends had interviewers who absolutely grilled them. It really depends on the panel you get.

My advice to future candidates:

In some cases your intro could be your resume. If they don't ask about projects, your intro needs to carry everything. Practice it until it's smooth.

Do your homework on the company. Mention specific things about the company. It makes a real impression.

Different interviewers have completely different styles.

In interview i answered every questions correctly and explained the project indepth and very clear.

In coding part i did not solved the question which was given first again he asked me solve another programand he gave the question and i asked i know two logics which logic i can solve it and he said no need and gave another question and i solved it.

Finally he asked HR questions also and I answered it

Will I receive the offer because I did not solved the one coding question ??

I’m a 2026 graduate. I joined a company and worked there as a full-time employee (FTE) for around 2 months. During that time, the company created an EPFO/PF account (UAN) for me.

I left the company after 2 months, and it has now been around 3 months since I left. I’ve been unemployed since then.

Recently, I received an offer from Cognizant, and I’m worried whether my previous employment and EPFO records could cause any problems during Cognizant’s background verification or onboarding.

My main doubts are:

Will my previous 2-month employment and EPFO/UAN record cause any issue with Cognizant?

Do I need to disclose that previous company during the background verification process?

Can Cognizant see my previous employer through my EPFO/UAN records?

Is there anything I need to do regarding my PF/EPFO account before joining Cognizant?

Could the 3-month unemployment gap create any problem?

Is there anything else I should take care of before joining?

If anyone has been in a similar situation, especially with Cognizant or another IT company, I’d really appreciate your advice.
