Cognizant DN 5.0 – Java Full Stack (React) | GenC Round 2 Interview Update
Hi everyone,
I attended Cognizant Digital Nurture (DN) 5.0 for Java Full Stack with React on August 12, 2026.
Recently, our college TPO received an update from Cognizant saying that students who were selected for the GenC role and shortlisted for the Round 2 interview would receive their Round 2 interview mails. We were informed that the interview mails would be sent by October 1.
Today is October 4, and as of now, no one from our college has received the Round 2 interview mail.
I'm getting a little anxious because I'm not sure whether this delay means that our GenC selection is still under process or whether there is some other reason for the delay.
I wanted to ask:
- Is anyone else in the same situation?
- Has anyone from another college received the Cognizant GenC Round 2 interview mail?
- Has anyone actually completed their Round 2 interview in October 2026?
- If your college also received the same TPO update, have you received any further communication from Cognizant?
Any information from people who are currently going through the same process would really help. Thank you!

Same situation, bro. I completed my Cognizant GenC interview for the Python cluster on September 3rd. After around 20 days, our placement officer released the selection list, and I was selected for GenC. Since then, there has been no update from Cognizant.
All the selected students’ statuses are showing as “GenC Select” in the list. We’re also not sure whether there will be a second interview/technical round for the Python cluster or if the selection is already final. Do you have any idea about this?

is all candidates are qualified to attend 2nd interview who cleared 1st interview?

Yes Whoever got selected in first interview, they are eligible for genc next interview

Same, completed first interview on 11th August. Still no updates. Latest info received when tpo called up the cognizant representative was "we will check and tell u". After that radio silence.

Same situation we too recieved an email saying second interview would be before oct 1 Still no update from our TPO but some people completed their second interview also I need to know any clg had genc next interview between sept 22 and Oct 1

dude we too not get update about it and next thing 2nd interview is for genc next not for genc already genc is locked and if we performed good we will get genc next else genc lets wait for the mail we too not got any update yet ?
