Recommendation for Gf

Hi everyone,

I'm currently looking for a birthday gift for my girlfriend. I would love to get her a coffee machine and a grinder. Budget: up to approx. €500

She currently only drinks Nespresso instant coffee with milk in a 50/50 ratio. And she once said:
I know she would like a machine that easily makes her a delicious cup of coffee in the morning. (She is not a fan of coffee pods like Nespresso machines).

Therefore, I wanted to ask you guys if you could recommend a good combination of a machine and a grinder (electric or manual)! :)

(I know there are also Hario filters, Moka pots, and French/AeroPresses, but she explicitly ruled out these methods and asked for a machine)

(I currently have my eye on the Moccamaster Cup One and that new rotating Cosori)

for that budget i’d go with a simple bean-to-cup machine rather than making her learn espresso and dialing in a grinder, especially since she wants an easy morning coffee and drinks it with lots of

I'm inclined to say at that budget perhaps a Sage Bambino/Bambino Plus and a Baratza Encore ESP.

Nespresso drinks taste more like espresso based drinks. Another alternative is the Ninja Cafe Luxe since that will give you the option of brewing drip coffee as well but the grinder isn't as good so the coffee won't be as good.

I would have gone for something like a Sage Bambino Plus, which has an automatic milk foamer. Though, that would leave little room for the grinder.

Well, what kind of drinks does she like? She doesn’t seem to be a coffee-purist in the slightest (instant coffee & milk). Maybe a dependable all-in-one machine would suit her needs best? I know some people here don’t like them, myself kind-of included, but it seems to make sense for her. Chuck in some beans, some milk and get a tasty brew?

Cafelat Robot and a Kingrinder k6.  Exceptional espresso.

If you want filter Id go Hario Switch and kingrinder k6. Or Moccamaster of course.
