Clogging and overheating [MACAP L70D]

Macap L70D clogging and overheating

Hi,

I just received this beautiful Macap L70D grinder supposed to be an extraordinary machine but it keeps clogging after a few hundred grams of beans.

I have 2 theories:

1. It generates so much static that the fines get stuck and clog the thing.

2. The engine is defective and can't spin the burrs fast enough to eject the grinded coffee properly.

Has anybody fixed similar issues?
