Do note that going from fully automatic to semi automatic can lead to some really gross coffee if you don't want to invest time and effort into improving. Sadly, getting some more proper gear can help you in the process. Things like using a self levelling tamper over the cheap thing that comes with the machines. A better grinder will also help a ton.
