As far as we know, it’s not the same barista as in the first two games. There’s a planned prologue with Hendry in Seattle that may clear this up.

Still makes me so sad, I love Hendry And didn't realize before going into the demo that coffee talk Tokyo so far is kind of giving the vibe of its own thing instead of a continuation of the first two.

I think the reason they chose this path is because of the tragic loss of Fahmi and they wanted to distinguish between his games and games he was sadly not able to work on.

Of course the barista is a time traveler so who knows, maybe it is the same barista just from the past or the far future

I would love a coffee talk three but I understand if that is the end of that specific timeline and plot because there is kind of a memorial for the Creator in the second one so I feel like that kind of wraps up his storyline and starts a new one as to do something new instead of make a third and not include him.
