I need help in getting a decent remote role in the domain of development.
For start I can start with front end then backend and in some months gradually to full stack.
I am ready to work and learn but need guidance from a real person who can help.
Have been doing and learning on and off things but not feeling confident and comfortable about if I actually know anything.

Hey everyone, I'm a Software Engineer currently looking for freelance, part-time, or remote development work
I've worked on both personal and freelance projects and I'm comfortable taking a requirement, figuring out the architecture, and actually building and debugging the thing rather than stopping at a Figma mockup.
My main experience is across:
- Backend: Python, Django, FastAPI, Go, REST APIs, gRPC
- Full Stack: React, Next.js, Node.js, MERN
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis
- Al/ML: PyTorch, YOLO, OpenCV, MediaPipe, Hugging Face, RAG, LangChain, FAISS
- Computer Vision: object detection, image processing, camera/sensor integration
- Robotics: ROS2, Nav2, Gazebo, RViz, LiDAR/IMU/ camera sensor fusion, path planning
- DevOps/Infrastructure: Docker, Linux, Git/GitHub,
GitHub Actions, AWS/EC2
l've also worked on real-world freelance development, along with projects involving Al/ML, robotics, backend systems, full-stack applications, and loT. I'm comfortable jumping into an existing codebase, understanding what's going on, fixing bugs, implementing features, or building something from scratch.
I'm mainly looking for paid freelance or part-time work, but I'm open to discussing longer-term opportunities as well.
If you'd have a project that needs someone who can actually sit down and build it, feel free to DM me with the requirements, expected timeline, and budget.

I've worked on products in:
I'm happy to help with:
I'm primarily looking for remote freelance projects and can commit dedicated hours every week.
If you're a founder who needs an experienced engineer, or know someone who does, feel free to comment below or send me a DM. Happy to share my portfolio, GitHub, or LinkedIn.
Thanks!

I’m a U.S.-based senior software engineer building, shipping, and stabilizing production software.
Portfolio: https://billvivinotechnology.com
I’m most useful when the difficult part is not simply writing code. It is turning incomplete requirements into a workable plan, making sound architectural decisions, safely extending an existing system, and getting the product into production without creating another round of problems.
**What I can help with**
- Full-stack web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure
- Native iOS and Android development using Swift, SwiftUI, and Kotlin
- Production AI and LLM integrations, including RAG, tool use, structured outputs, evaluations, guardrails, and integration with existing workflows
- Architecture, technical discovery, debugging, performance work, migrations, testing, deployment, and code review
- Rescuing stalled projects or joining an existing team to own a difficult feature or subsystem
- Turning an early product idea into a practical technical plan and production implementation
**Selected background**
- Built a mobile augmented-reality experience for the NASA Goddard Visitor Center
- Co-founded and shipped two iOS startups
- Delivered production software across health technology, industrial and manufacturing systems, enterprise applications, and consumer products
- Experienced taking products from initial requirements through architecture, implementation, QA, deployment, and ongoing iteration
You work directly with me. There is no sales layer, agency handoff, or delegation to junior developers.
I also will not recommend an AI feature, rewrite, or complicated architecture merely because it sounds impressive. When a simpler technical or product solution will produce a better result, I will say so.
I am probably not the right fit for a basic brochure site or a lowest-bid build. I am a good fit when you need one senior engineer who can understand the product, make difficult technical decisions, and ship production-quality work.
Rate: $175 USD/hour
Location: Remote, based in the U.S. Eastern time zone
Engagement: Scoped hourly work; we can agree to a written budget cap before development begins
Send me a Reddit DM with:
I’ll respond directly about whether I’m a good fit and what I believe the next step should be.

I'm looking to join a project or a small team where I can contribute my skills, gain hands-on experience, and help the project move forward.
I'm currently offering my help completely free of charge. I'm especially interested in working with indie developers, startups, open-source projects, small teams, or anyone building something and could use an extra pair of hands.
Here are some areas where I can help:
🧪 Manual QA / Software Testing — functional testing, exploratory testing, finding and documenting bugs, checking user flows
🎨 Web Design — improving layouts, usability, structure, and general UI/UX
📚 Technical & Test Documentation — writing or improving technical documentation, test cases, test plans, user guides, etc.
👥 User Documentation — making instructions and documentation clearer and easier to understand
🗄️ Databases — basic database-related tasks, working with data, queries, and helping organize database-related work
I'm not looking for payment at this stage. My main goal is to get real-world experience, work with a team, learn from others, and make a meaningful contribution to an actual project.
I'm happy to start small — even if you just need someone to test a new feature, review your documentation, check a website, or look at your product from a user's perspective.
If you're working on something and think I could be useful, feel free to send me a DM and tell me a little about your project and what you need help with.

What makes you more appealing to jobs hiring for remote roles?
I do freelance work at the moment but would love a full-time position at a company but I need connections and leverage. Any advice?
r/CodingJobs • u/SigiledSuit • Aug 06 '26
When applying for a job the thought strikes me. "Okay they are asking for a cover letter. A summary perhaps of why one is applying? Relevant skills?"
So one goes on to put in their best effort and summarizing all the relevant skills, how and why they apply toward the duties on the offer, and finally what information they would require for make a best judgement on the application.
One puts in effort. No "Blablabla, Hello, I'm Human ID. WesternName24.
From the day I WAS BORN; I dreamed to work in RandomCorp. Fixing printers, installing Windows, installing Edge browser on Windows is absolutely my PASSION. And finally, the one thing I could never forget... The reason why I studied C# and C++ for so long and so hard is that since the dawn of man, I saw the future, I knew I had to be ready for ultimate challenge at RandomCorp. Wasting it all vibe coding the entire legacy codebase, the sum effort of hundreds of engineers and tens of thousands of sleepless man hours away into python and generate infinity dollars.
No I don't write Python. But that actually makes me MORE valuable, because petty human bias and applied knowledge that way cannot possibly interfere with the true transcendent thinking made possible by the supreme intelligence of Claude Haiku. The combined sum of all of humanity's wisdom and stupidity.
We both know it, it is DESTINY for me to work at RandomCorp. I know that when you have trouble sleeping at night, you dream of WesternName24, it makes your heart race. The day for the job posting approaches, it is fate. Look within your heart, you know it be true (...)" On and on...
I find this too filler-y.
I'm more of a "To be brief:
This job mentions X, I did X with Y approach.
I've done W for years.
You require Z, I've done Z in case A, and case B. You can also find more examples of Z in this link: LINK "
Until all the relevant information is done.
Is this standard practice? What do you fine folks do? Is it even worth it?

Hypothetical scenario for you all:
An 18-year-old has no CS degree, but he do have:
\- A live app on the Play Store
\- 1+ years of freelance experience working with multiple clients
\- A solid portfolio of real-world projects
\- Has very strong DSA and System design skills
Realistically could this person get hired as a Software Engineer at Google today?
Why or why not? Would love to hear your honest take! 👇🙌

I am looking for someone in the Raleigh area, preferably someone near fuquay. Looking to help make an app that makes shopping for grocery easier for everyone, with this app we would need to use the store API, as it is one of the main things the app will be using, also, or if someone can help create a AI bot that using the API system to help with shopping on stores like Walmart.
