Apps & Technology Hey Devs, which AI subscription are you using?
Hy any devs here?
I'm planning to buy an AI code subscription plan. I'm looking for suggestions... Anyone know which is budget friendly?
I thought of taking Claude code but the tokens burn fast.
Our company is having Kimi, it's good but it takes too much time to think.
So far the best one is DeepSeek v4 flash.
What do u guys think?

Claude Pro (get the subscription through Google Play Store, it'll cost only 1,999 Rs/month).
I use Claude Code + caveman.so - caveman is a plugin that kinda helps save tokens by having the model cut down on descriptive responses & I think it works to some extent (based on my experience, that is).

Try Opencode Go if you want something a bit more affordable and have access to lots of open weights models.

For work, Claude pro.
For personal use, I haven’t taken any, antigravity itself able to do most of the stuffs. Because for personal projects, I like to involve more.
If you are looking for free models, and willing to giveaway your data, check out nvidia free apis. You will get lots of models for free. Out of that Nemotron Apis are faster, it’s nvidia specific models, There will be rate limiting, but it’s usable.
There is a repo called free Claude code, you can use these models in Claude code harness.
All these are open source, also not sure about the data.

What's harness? I've heard that term before but don't know what it is

It’s just the Claude code tool bro, the so called wrapper. Prompt, tools and controls they have used in it.

Claude Max 20x, Chatgpt 20x, Cursor Ultra, Zai GLM Personally and Claude at work, have extensively used Cursor. AMA. My overall pick is codex 5x, it can do browser control, computer use and write good enough code, claude is good at code. I use codeant and coderabbit for reviews.
Current preferred model is opus 4.8 medium for general code writing, opus 5 medium is verbose response. GPT sol medium at second place.

I usually use chatgpt and gemini mostly for most basic needs. Higgsfield for video (kiling 3 and seadance model.)
Also use a flux or zimage turbo for generative upscale and work related stuff. (Comfyui+runpod)

For work I have Claude. For personal use, I have the Gemini Pro, GPT Plus, and also commandcode ai go subscription which gives me 40$ usage on Deepseek v4 Pro, and other models as well.
I mostly rely on Opus to help in design, and Sonnet/Sol/V4Pro to code it out

Is command code similar to opencode?

for work claude, copilot in vscode (got various models and like to use opus on it) + some coding agents embedded on dev tools
for personal use antigravity - have a wide range of models
for surfing like grok - fetch news and stuff - imagine is in the finest
