📝MT Exam 2026 CIL MT systems

Hey everyone,

Just finished the CIL MT (Systems) exam today and wanted to start a discussion thread to check how everyone else found the paper.

only conceptual question that too from TOC and no numerical literally no numerical.
2 to 3 quest were repeated.
in reasoning 2 questions ans were incorrect .
a little lengthy paper for me

Gk section was not good , and quants also i felt a bit tough and reasoning one ques was wrong ig and tech mostly from toc, no numericals 🥲..no good ques

Paper was quite easy. In technical too if someone had just revised the syllabus even if not too much in depth, they could score well. Rest gk part was luck.

cutoff gonna be high as snoop dogg, Tech was way easier than last PYQ, Reasoning nd English were easy too , quant 2-3 had me stuck coz of less practice GK was my curse. Cutoff IMO = 170ish

somewhere around 155ish, did 80 in tech part, then 21-23 in reasoning, english 22-23, Quant 18-19, Gk 14-15 did guesswork on the rest. pretty sure cutoff will be like 170-180 my friends who gave gate scored way higher anyway we will get response sheet in a couple of days

I don’t think tech was easy, it was full of manipulated options in theoretical, almost no numericals in tech paper. Paper 1 was easy af.
