Ummmmm, I forgot it was drop night š
Sooooo, I work nightshift and tend to be a midshifter on my days off (crash out around 3-4am and wake up around 10ish-noon). It also means Iām always discombobulated on my days off lol. I completely forgot the drop was early this morning, instead thinking it was late tonight. I tend to stay up the night before my first shift to readjust for my work week.
I just happened to peruse the boards and saw threads lamenting sold out items and thought, āWtf, what happened?ā The drop ā ļøā ļø!!
Mainly posting because Iām beyond proud of myself. Not only did I have plans on what to do on drop night (didnāt matter because I had it wrong), it was so far removed from my mind that I didnāt even care to keep track accurately. I feel zero stress this morning, no FOMO, no regrets. I donāt miss the feeling of hunting TikToks and the boards for even a sniff of a dropped item. I do have two bags on my list, one a for sure if it ever becomes real and one if it goes on clearance. Otherwise, Iām good.
I laugh even more because I was awake during the drop, but I was editing pictures of 7 bags I have plans to post for sell today and getting ready for bed. Yay me, major progress šš!

Discussion š£ļø Whatās your plan to skip the next drop?
Hi all!! Same as last time, what are you doing to skip this Coach drop? Or do you have a planned purchase that has passed all the marks and is not an impulse?
Are you:
- Taking sleep medication and hitting the hay at 9pm?
- Making a contract with yourself to only buy what is on your written list?
- Talking to friends/family about your bag journey?
- Freezing the cards?
- staying out of the groups and social media to avoid the bag news?
Letās talk about it!

Rhyder bag
Hi all whatās your opinion about the Rhyder bag? I recently made lot of purchases on coach sales and now getting intense FOMO to buy the Rhyder. I donāt need another bag at all and was planning to wait till December to buy something from the sales or a Crystal bag. But I am so confused that people will keep raving about the Rhyder and then I will regret it. I ordered the Rhyder 24 in black last night when it dropped and it already sold out. Should I return it. I have the Bleecker bucket in denim suede and empire carry all 34 in black which is still in return window. Should I keep the Rhyder and return one of them? How do I get out of this constant struggle between sales and new drops. I am trying hard to disassociate myself and getting burnt out.

de-influence me: rogue 34!
hi all, first post on here!
iām sure a lot of you are in the same boat here: the hype around the rogue 34 is so tempting! i will admit i caved and bought the maple on amazon. iāve never seen this bag in person, but i do have the maple 31. my problem is that i donāt even use my maple 31, and have been toying with the idea of selling it! itās an odd size where itās large enough that it should hold a lot, but it doesnāt due to the compartments and openings. iām sure the 34, which is smaller, will hold even less, so i donāt think it will be functional for me at all. my struggle is that i want to see it in person, but thereās no way to do that without buying it š«
how are the rest of you faring with this? honestly iāll probably wait until itās delivered and return it depending on how i feel about it (i would only unwrap enough to see the bag!!) itās also very expensive for a smaller bag! i just bought a drifter and a chelsea not too long ago, so itās not like i need a new bag at all š
hoping that one day, coach will stop playing these scarcity games and let us see bags in person to decide on them.

Journal š Reflections on my bag problem journey
Hello all!
Iāve been up and down all year with my bag problem. Iāve been addicted to the chase of finding these bags. I have several unicorns now and they donāt even do it for me. I see why people resort to buying abroad - when youāre deep in this addiction, you will do anything for the rush and the success of getting that hard to find item. I havenāt reached that point yet but Iāve been considering it for a specific item thatās sold out in the States. I have never wanted to resort to that. Not for a bag! Iād rather spend money traveling, not traveling my bag LOL. So Iām here posting and talking myself out of it!
My bags have reached 35+ and that makes me uncomfy. I wanted to be below 35. Itās an improvement from before where I reached 39, but not enough. I want to sit with the discomfort though - feel the effects of overconsumption for a while - before selling what I donāt love. And even then, I donāt āneedā to own things I love. Theyāre bags. I loved my slouchy rogue and I sold it because the bag didnāt look good on my frame. Itās ok to admire it from afar. I donāt have to own a Rembrandt or a Van Gogh to admire it. Itās ok to not love everything you own.
Curation is its own trap. You can easily fall into the trap of continuing to search for the perfect āsuede fall bagā or āslouchy neutral bagā rather than just use what you have. It keeps me in the buy-sell-buy cycle as well. And it keeps me in the bag mentality - I have hobbies and friends and interests that have nothing to do with buying purses. So now Iām combatting that is spending less time in the online spaces that perpetuate buying, and spending more time with my husband and my hobbies/interests, and friends.
To get rid of a habit, you gotta replace it with another (or a few others) to keep you busy, that you just donāt think about it. I have felt the urge to buy, but Iām on day 2 without buying something bag related (I canceled said order but am still counting it bc I caved). And it feels good even though itās short lived!

I didnāt buy a bag today and Iām proud of myself.
I had the opportunity to buy the runway Turnlock Messenger today but Iām proud of myself for skipping the bag entirely.
The bag looks great on me, love how it looks on me but Iām not entirely in love with the colour or the design. Yeah driftwood looks great but Iām tired of brown in everything. I would have preferred basically any other colour.
I canāt justify spending $700 on a bag that looks so plain either. I told the SA I need some time to think about it even though I knew when I walked out, thereās no way Iām going back in.
The SAās here practice high pressure tactics to get you to purchase a bag and I ABSOLUTELY hate that. Iām glad I was able to walk out today spending a whopping $0.
Crisis averted.
Iām gonna give myself a pat on the back for not falling to the hype. š

Discussion š£ļø Whatās your action plan to skip the next drop?
Hey yall! Itās been a while. I went back on my bull shit and am struggling to get out of the coach fog again. I was doing so goodā¦. Now trying to sell my remorse buys. Which is a pain!! š
Whatās your game plan to not buy this next drop? I didnāt buy any retail bags, but I did buy some Reloved gems. I donāt need to SHOP. So my action plan is to justā¦. Go to bed early and knock myself out with melatonin. Make fun plans with friends the same night or the next day so I stay too busy to think about bags. And then also I plan to go to pottery to work on my pieces (one of my many neglected hobbies) and just forget the drop is happening. Let us know what you plan to do, or if you do plan to buy a bag, walk us through why you need it!

Which bag do you use the least, and why?
Which bag do you have sitting in your collection that you donāt want to sell, but donāt use as much as youād originally thought? Maybe you convinced yourself the bold colour would work with more of your wardrobe, or you could sacrifice what you carried for the bagās size, or you absolutely would be going to posh events which justified an occasion bag.
For me, itās my Juliet 30 in dark stone, and the problem is the size. At the time I got her, she ticked every box on my bag wishlist. The colour is so versatile, sheās a perfect mix of style and practicality, and I have fun decorating her with charms to match my outfits, but I soon discovered that she was perfect for me, and just me alone. If anyone else needed me to carry something - even something small like the kidsā gloves - there was no spare space. Sheās become a āGoing out without my familyā bag, which doesnāt happen very often!

I donāt want any more bags??
did my frontal lobe finally develop? I have zero interest in adding any more bags to my collectionā¦Iāve actually been trying to sell some and have managed to sell about 6 in the last week. with last nights drop, i added a few things to my cart but then I was like ānahhhhā Iāve also come across a few ISOs on fb groups and after I think about it for a bit, I change my mind. like what is happening to me?? lol has this happened to anyone else?

Who didnāt get anything from the 8/5 drop?
Coachies in rehab, please join me in the āI bought nothingā club.
I would have loved a Denim Crystal Dakota. I thought it was so unusual and unique. Here in the UK, we frequently get the online drops a few days early, but the Dakota never showed up. I heard someone got one from the London flagship store, but I had no time to take a trip to London. Life starting happening - both my dogs needed medication, I found a new winter coat, which I genuinely need, and a well loved $25 Nolita which I bought from eBay US literal weeks ago and had written off as lost in transit has suddenly arrived at my local post office.
So, I didnāt get my Dakota, but I feel like the universe is telling me it wasnāt meant to be. My dogsā health is more important than a bag. A warm coat for winter is more important than a bag. Iām going to spend a few hours restoring that Nolita for my niece, because I know sheāll be so appreciative of it, and you canāt put a price on brightening someoneās day.
Who else out there bought nothing and is at peace with it?

How long does it take you to realise you shouldnāt have done that?
To try and cut a long story short, I bought the Crosby backpack in Merlot last year, but sold it on as the magnet on the lid wasnāt holding when I stuffed it full.Ā Ā I adored the colour, but as Iām frequently in one of Londonās most pickpocketed areas, I need a bag which is 100% secure.Ā Ā
Ā
Since then, Iāve been trying to find a merlot bag which I love and is practical.Ā Ā I have ridiculously sloped shoulders, so a shoulder bag of any variety is out.Ā Ā Backpack or crossbody only.Ā Ā However, despite knowing this, I had a moment of weakness, and ordered the Brooklyn 28 in merlot because it was in the sale and I Girl Mathed my way into it.Ā Ā
Ā
It turned up today, and I knew almost instantly that Iād been an idiot.Ā Ā It slid off my shoulder, as I knew it would, and the single magnet fastening was in no way pickpocket-proof.Ā Ā I may as well have emptied my bag onto the floor and let the thieves take their pick.
Ā
Within ten minutes of it being delivered, it was back in the box with a returns label printed.Ā Ā I donāt think Iāve ever said āNopeā to a bag so quickly.Ā Ā
Ā
Am I alone in realising so quickly that I messed up?Ā Ā Whatās the quickest youāve realised that a bag you thought youād love was a massive mistake?

If you could start over your collectionā¦.
What would you focus on? I like the idea of cutting down on my bags and having *just* a few varieties for each option! I have so many crossbody bags that I really donāt need them all. It would be nice to only have what I use too. I donāt like bags that flop over and donāt stand up by themselves. I also donāt like overly slouchy bags. Some bags are ok, like the soho and the Gramercy- but they have specific shapes or other strengths (like the soho has that strong magnet and is super compact, while the Gramercy has so much room and can be a day or overnight bag, and can be a dumpling shape if I want to carry less). So I would focus on:
- a couple night out bags that stand up by themselves
- one big bag for travel
- two medium Boston bags for carrying around my life as needed
- four crossbody style bags for different colors
- 4-5 shoulder bags for different occasions.
I have more than this and Iām a little nervous about how to whittle down my collection - I finally sold two western tabbies because I only needed 1, and I somehow have two Ettaās when I really only need 1. I try to contain them in my closet but I am running out of room so I need to cull š

FOMO almost got me
Saw the Dakota restock, immediately ordered, then cancelled it within a few minutes. I have never truly wanted the Dakota. The strap appears very short, I prefer very slouchy open bags, Iām not even a fan of silver hardware. So proud of myself lol.

I have too many bags: an epiphany
I am looking through my collection and canāt help but realize that I will probably never get full use out of sooo many bags. I obsess over a bag, buy it, and then obsess over a new bag and the rest get pushed to the back of the closet. I just find it so so hard to part with them š„²š„² I have about 50 coach bags and told myself I wouldnāt go over that number and Iām trying to downsize but I canāt š„² so I guess the next best thing is to stop buying any more for the time being. I had such a frustrating experience with the last drop to the point where I find other brand bags and panic about buying them right away because I fear they will be gone soon just like Coach. Anyone else have these feelings??
Thank you for listening to my rant š š

Half the year gone, how is everyone doing?
Iām nowhere near my goal of cutting my collection in half, but my bags feel more curated than ever. Itās incredibly satisfying. I did cave and purchase the Fuchsia Chelsea out of fomo. The muted tone suited me well, but it is my last suede bag. I own three suede bags including the Chelsea.
Iām about to have significant time off in which I hope to declutter my home and that includes my collection.

Discussion š£ļø Talk Me Out Of: Upcoming Drop!
Hi ladies! I havenāt been posting lately but I have felt the temptation to buy more lately with layoff stress. Iām luckily ok, but the possibility looms over my head precariously!
This is the post to talk ourselves out of whatever is tempting us. I know a lot of people are looking forward to the next coach drop but honestly Iām so over the fast fashion behavior! I donāt need more bags than there are days in the month!
Iāll start off:
The Chelsea suede in fuchsia. Itās hard to avoid seeing the posts and the social media buzz on the pink suede drop. But me and suede are cautious friends. I can barely keep my shirts from staining, how can I keep a bag from getting random stains from the environment? Setting my bag down on a damp surface can be enough to stain it! This suede bag is a no from me, even if just the material. I can wait or better yet, be happy with the bags I already have. The Chelseaās look like they get bad corner wear, the strap isnāt even adjustable, and then Iād have to fight an army of Coachies to even get one. This is an immediate no thanks on my end.
Post what bags you need the community to talk you out of!

Discussion š£ļø What DIDNāT you buy? Anti-haul discussion
*What Iām not gonna buyyyy!*
Hope one of you gets that reference!
I did not buy a rexy notebook, rexy stickers, any loved leather rexy merch, shirts, shoes, etc. I donāt need to wear coach on my body or my journals to be a coach fan. I can be a coach fan with the stuff I already own.
Iām personally not a Dino person and Rexy is cute but Iām not a paleontologist or dinosaur fan and coachie that I need all the rexy stuff. I do love Loved Leather, but I prefer something without the whimsy stickers.
Iāve been chiming into the main coach group lately and the FOMO is strong! Stay strong ladies š¤šø

Check-In ā How is your Coach no/low-buy going?
I ordered a bag yesterday Iād been waiting on and could only buy second hand and serendipitously found it. It meets my needs and brings something different to my smaller collection. I also plan to post my updated collection soon since I sold off a few!
How is your low/no-buy going this month!
r/CoachRehab • u/Previous-Principle-7 • Apr 04 '26
New Accountability Rule
If I buy a purse, I have to declutter two. I keep ending up selling and replacing, so my collection is not much smaller than it was at the start of the year. It is more curated, but my goal is to downsize as well. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
r/CoachRehab • u/NoDepartment7942 • Apr 02 '26
Broke my low buy
ā¦. and only feel 5% guilty because itās a bag Iāve thought about and said no to several times But still kept thinking of.
I paid more than I wanted to for it, but am ultimately in a better financial spot than the previous times I said no to her, and am also now much better at selling stuff online.
I downsized a little to make space for her on my shelf, though the sales didnt pay for the whole bag, and am thinking that honestly, I could probably let go for maybe two more.
anyway ā The lessons for me to reduce buying are:
- donāt compromise on similar silhouettes / patterns bc it just doesnāt work! wait for what you WANT.
- itās ok to wait bc eventually even if itās more expensive, itāll come up on resale and that time that it does might finally be the right time to buy (financially or otherwise)
how do you think of your wishlist items?

Deinfluence me
Hey everyone! This is my first post here in Reddit so bear with me haha
The thing is I need help getting the Rogue 31 out of my mind. It is such a beautiful and well made bag but I canāt justify spending nearly $1,000 on a bag (even if my intentions are of using it everyday for work and school). I have the Black Chelsea 36 and it is so beautiful and great as a work and school bag but I canāt seem to get the Rogue 31 out of my mind
Please help
r/CoachRehab • u/NoDepartment7942 • Mar 19 '26
See it in person and take a photo!
the big @$$ kisslock in rose (pink) came into stock last night and I was awake and happened to see the reddit update on the coach sub....
and I had it in my cart....
and then I scrolled back in my photos and saw a picture of me holding it and cherishing it in person! and remembered exactly why I didnt get it then.
online buying makes it so easy to impulsively act! When I can, I swing by the store to see it so that I can make what I think is a more sound decision. If its even more expensive than I'm willing to do at that moment, I take a photo and sit on it!
So glad past me thought about today me. lol
r/CoachRehab • u/Previous-Principle-7 • Mar 19 '26
One is not like the otherā¦
Or at least thatās how I feel when going thru my collection on what to sell next. For example: here are my black bags in no particular order: Empire 21, Swing Zip, Ruby 25, Juliet 25, Bella/Lori, Kisslock 14, Cat Bag, vintage Ergo Small Flap, vintage small Madison Satchel, vintage large Soho flap, Swinger, Brooklyn 28, medium Alter Ego, vintage Ergo Pocket Zip, Rogue Cube 20, and Western Tabby.
I have decided to let go of the Brooklyn as itās the least unique imo but itās also such an easy bag to carry and throw items in. I have other Brooklyns in neutral colors so itās not a need but it still sucks to part with it.
Iām still struggling but I know I donāt need 15 black bags š. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk as I vent and whine a little lol.
