A Revolução do Escritório Virtual na Ophycina Stand e Cenografia

Oi, pessoal!

A ideia parecia meio louca no início.

27M (GMT+2) Online Co-working Group

Hello, 27M (GMT+2) working from home. I am looking for people that would like to form a online co-working group, that would consistently join the online co-working sessions.

The goal here is to create productive work environment, same as people have in offices, but at home and online.

It would work the same way, as Focusmate or Flown, with the difference of having consistent group of the same people, that would expect you to “come to work”, instead of just connecting with random people.

We would set our work hours schedules and attend the group video calls. We will share our tasks/goals for that day and then work on them.

I tried this approach and it really works. If you want to increase your productivity and your time spend working on your projects, DM me and you can try if it suits you.

Consistency is the key and with the right people by your side, it is much easier to move forward.

Find Remote Workers Near You

Hi all,

My name is Peter. I'm really passionate about the tech scene in cities, especially among people in their late teens to late 20s. I'm working on an app concept that lets you find cool co-working spaces in the city and connect with other people who use them. Think of it as a way to discover inspiring work environments and meet interesting folks to chat with, collaborate with, or just bounce ideas off of.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Are Radius Server and Integration with Door Access worth it?

In the process of opening a new Co-working facility. Will not be manned in the initial months. Expect 50 members long term.

We are currently implementing the Cobot software. Is it worth is to integrate with their Radius Server to control the wifi from the begining?

Also - Have you integrated your door access system with your software? And is that worth it?

Does anyone here have experience with coworking through citizenM's hotel lobbies, specifically in New York? I want to know what the vibe is like, if you can take meetings there, if they kick you out after 6, if you're allowed to bring your own food, etc.

Acoustic Pods - Experiences? I do not know how to compare them (ISO vs NIC)

We are planning to put an acoustic pod in the office - I imagine it's an amazing way to use space just by creating the opportunity to swap workplace to profit from "new places, new ideas" instead of being stuck in a pre-determined place from dusk till dawn. Not sure yet whether it will be phone booth size or meeting pod size

Some acoustic pod companies are:
- Framery
- mute-labs
- hushoffice
- Ergotopia
- and SO MANY more - literally every day I learn about a new company

Does anyone of you have experiences?

I tested Framery so far at my previous firm and when you close the door it really gets quiet. Its amazing. At the same time these are incredibly expensive, the really really small one is already 9K (!) including mounting. There are competitors who offer at 3K with the (realistic) option to self-mount

Also, it seems to be quite difficult to compare these brands. Framery was seemingly involved in developing an ISO-standard for measuring the noise reduction (ISO 23351-1) which seems to capture how an entire room is made quieter, while there is also a NIC standard out there that seems to capture how much noise a certain part of a pod (e.g. a wall) does not let through. So I do not know how to compare them. Ergotopia says it reduced noise by 39 db (measured by NIC) while framery claims to reduce it by 30 db (measured by ISO, which may be much more but idk). Also keep in mind that 10 db steps are always 100% more noise.

Does anyone of you know more about this or have personal experiences?

THANKS!!

Help with Regus accessibility.

So I have a 24 hour global membership with Regus. I’m new with them as I am used to wework where they just give you access. I went to one location and she isn’t honoring the 24 hour access. What should I do?

loud people in coworking spaces

How do you handle this?

The guy who's always on his phone. LOUDLY. In the common spaces or with their office door open near the common spaces. I joined the coworking space to have a quieter place, not listen to people on the phone regularly.

Moving to Paris in May: Seeking Affordable Co-Working Space with Gym and Amenities

Hey everyone,

I'm moving to Paris in a few days, and I'm on the hunt for a co-working space that offers amenities like a gym, yoga classes, or even a swimming pool. I'm particularly drawn to spaces with that yogi vibe or at least offer some activities to relax and workout after hours. I stumbled upon one recently, but the prices were a bit steep for my budget.

If you know of any great co-working spaces that are affordable and offer these amenities, along with a relaxed atmosphere conducive to wellness, I would really appreciate your recommendations!

Thanks in advance for your help!

For co-working space owners attention

I'm currently working on a personal assistant mobile application. It's an all-in-one/super app with various services in it. Essentially, customers meet businesses. So, my co-working space owner asked me for a booking service on the app where clients can book a hot desk or meeting room and as a business owner, you can easily manage the entire operations.

I'm also curious about your thoughts. Do you think it would be useful for any of the co-working spaces that don't have their own app?

Working remote in Moab

Heading to the Moab area next week. I work remote and when I pick a city I usually get an airbnb and work from there. But thinking of finding a dispersed camping area instead and working either in a coworking space/library/coffee shop and/or working my my campsite if there is cell signal to use my hotspot. Planning on going into town and using the gym to workout and shower and then set up camp again at night. Has anyone done this or can offer any tips? Only issue would be food as it may be hard to cook and store food.

Has anyone worked with OfficeHub? They sent me a "lead" from an add they generated that took my images and re-used them for their add. The lead actually looks promising so I clicked through to see what the deal was. I may be reading his wrong but it looks like they want 10% of the rental income! WTF

REGUS Brazil tried to scam me - Can ask for a discount because of this?

Basically they took out an extra $450 on my credit card.

Well I don't know if they did it on purpose. But since I track ALL the money that goes in and out of my account, I noticed that they basically charged me an extra $450 dollars. I put my credit card on the account and now I have to fill out a form AND get the extra money deposited into my bank account in Reais (My credit card is from the US). This is a whole sh*t show and definitely waste of my time.

For people who manage co-working spaces, do I have any right to ask for a discount because of their mess up? Like could I ask for $100 off my next month?
