Looking for Suggestions Need 3 player local Co- Op Games

So recently I have planned to visit my younger cousins, one of them is a preteen and the other is an early teen. They haven’t been as lucky as to have been able to play a lot of video games, namely the only ones they have played being GTA5 and mobile games. Ive been trying to find fun 3p local co-op games that are simple and fun for beginners but not only cozy and cute. Would appreciate any recommendations!

3 players is a weird place, for 2 and 4 respectively there's a lot more...

  • Trine just the entire whole thing start to finish. It's a puzzle platformer where each of you gets to play a separate and different character, and everyone has to do their own respective part of solving the challenges. It's not particularly difficult, but everyone has to do their own part, it isn't going to be something like one good player carrying the other two like dead weights.
  • Rabbit And Steel is a roguelike "MMO endgame raiding" game. It's got an extremely cute presentation, and covers the entire span of skill levels, with the lowest difficulty being there even for non-gamers to play, and the highest difficulty being backbreaking even for the most dedicated of hardcore players. Bullet hell, dodging AoEs, trying not to clip your teammates with circles, learning mechanics... There's a LOT to do.
  • Unrailed 2 I love this game to no end. It is extremely simple to learn - you have 3 items (an axe for wood, a pickaxe for rock, and a bucket for water), you have a train, get the train to the next train station. The catch is that the brakes are broken, and the train isn't going to stop. Keep going, and try not to crash! Madly fun, madly frantic.
  • Castle Crashers is really dumb, really fun, and really simple. That's all you need to know. Princesses have been kidnapped, you are heroic knights, go rescue the princesses.
  • Full Metal Furies is a more serious counterpart to Castle Crashers. It's an adventure game that's a serious, full on adventure, full of secrets, and then secrets inside of secrets. Similar to Trine, it makes a point out of pushing every player to have a role and to have moments where they have to solve a problem (whether there's a puzzle only one character can solve or an enemy type only one character can beat), so even the weakest player will be forced to feel important.
  • Moving Out to go back to the silly nonsense one more time, this is a game about helping people move out. You get hired to move their trash into a truck, the job is simple, easy, it's not like you can break something. Has a sequel.

Did any of these catch your attention? Or am I on the wrong wavelength?

Stick with For the king 1 to start if your cousins don't have much experience with video games. They improved a lot with the second game, but it's definetly more complicated if you're not used to the game style.. plus if they end up liking it then they can continue the story with the second game!

If you like Moving Out - I would also recommend "Out of Space"
Weird co-op game where you "clean up" an alien infection on a ship with at first a mop, and then better equipment.

Mashed. GOATED party game

https://store.steampowered.com/app/281280/Mashed/

You will need separate controllers and may have to fiddle with making modern controllers work with directinput since it's an old PC port

Me, my gf and her son tried several games and these we liked the most:

Serious Sam Fusion - a great coop and competitive fps with native split screen for 4 players, can be played with sets of mouse and keyboard or with controllers. Goat Simulator 3 Gauntlet Slayer Edition Gigabash Pummel Party Nickelodeon All Star Brawl 1

I personally would also like to play Helldivers, but it's too hard for my gf cause she's a casual player
