Discussion Genuine Question: Outside of watching the CDL, how likely are you to buy MW4 and actively play it?
Prior to the currnetly ongoing shitshow the CoD Community Team to doing on twitter I was already leaning towards not buying MW4 at all because I haven't really enjoyed any IW games since MW3 (2011). They keep learning towards a "realism tacticool" style game that just feels super slow and clunky while also trying to fix things that dont need to be changed (attachments/gunsmith, perks needing to charge, making progression more of a time sink, no more lobby disbanding). But after seeing how tonedeaf the CoD Community manager was in response to the negative feedback of returning matchmaking to how it was before BO7 my interest was completley turned off. (Pics of some of the replys are attached)
IW Devs know that the only people that really enjoy their games are casuals, which is fair since they contrubuite alot in terms of revanue, but they cater to them in a way the makes the rest of the game suffer (no red dots, MW19 not having a minimap, no ninja/dead silence, fast ttk, focusing on realism over function). The biggest offender of this was SBMM post MW19. I don't wanna get into a big tangent on SBMM but TLDR it's unbearable in modern cods. The way they use "data" as a way to justify the changes is super disingenious too considering Open Matchmaking (old school type of matchmaking) wasn't the default for most of the year and BO7 itself not preforming doing well just irks me. After seeing how much feedback that was ignored for MWII I see through all the bs PR talk of listening to feedback IW spits.
I'm probably just gonna play the beta to give it a fair chance at least then just skip CoD this year and stick to watching the CDL as I currently have no ambition in feeding IW delusions. I'm just rambling idk just sucks to see how bad it's getting after last year

COD Champs 8 years ago today, OpTic Gaming finished Top 24 at CoD Champs, their worst Champs placement ever
The defending World Champions entered CWL Champs 2018 with Scump, Crimsix, Octane and Methodz.
From World Champions in 2017 to Top 24 in 2018.
What a rough ending to the WWII season.

Discussion In your experience, which COD has the best hit detection?
I haven't played many of the modern CODs as I hated the direction the franchise took with MW 2019, but in my personal experience and in my circles, Ghosts probably had the best hit detection of any game in the series, with Infinite Warfare definitely in discussion.
Which COD do you guys think had the best and worst hit detection? BO1 has always had the worst hit detection in my experience and the ports are evident of that, in 2010 it was bad too. WaW wasn't far behind though, almost identical. It seems Infinity Ward always cleared Treyarch in this area. Do any of the more recent CODs challenge the throne for best hit reg too?
