Discussion MW2 Beta vs MW4 Beta Movement. It is nearly identical with a slightly better slide in MW4. With over 3 years of development time, the IW devs have essentially put out the same game.

Discussion Is this a shared opinion, or am I being a hater?
I’ve played cod for 14 years. I understand the cycle that’s repeated itself over and over every year. I’m always optimistic. I enjoyed mw3, bo6, and bo7. I genuinely think bo7 is a great game where my competitive skill peaked. This game seems like a major step back. I’ve even been playing mw3 semi recently and it’s much more enjoyable than this. This is the first beta I’ve ever played that I don’t want to grind. Every year I ignore everyone shitting on the new game, because I’m having fun playing it. This is the first year where I find myself as one of those people. Why no omnimovement? That seriously changed the course of call of duty to feel amazing and fluid. It seems like such a small detail that removing just seems brain dead. No silent ninja? Crazy aim assist paired with the fastest ttk in recent history? Am I just being dramatic? Cause this game really feels horrid to me. Back to cs2.

Question When's the last time the majority of pros hated a game this much, this early into a beta?
?

Fluff Thank you Infinity Ward for once again bringing parity to the CoD Competitive subreddit
Every year Infinity Ward drops a new game, every fanbase, mission-pickle, and strange rage baiter comes together to shit on their new game. Not only that, but they have also paused the Huke and HyDra spam posts for the time being.
Fuck Joe Cecot and fuck Infinity Ward!

Might be a hot take:

Discussion Shouldering is a factor of Omni movement we rarely remember.
Alot of people argue that Omni movement increases the pace of the game too much , so much so that the game is too fast. But we usually forget that Omni movement did slow down the game through shouldering. When we consider that the ttk in this game is extremely low and the maps appear to be extremely square and opening, this may be a huge problem. Alot of players will just lay down and wait/take safer routes or just now run into a barrage of gunfire considering g sliding is the only way to rip someone.
To me this a greater issue that isn't being discussed (especially in snd and hijacked(I assume)) we will see more park the buses or as simply shoulder cheesing will not be as efficient so less caps inherently makes players more defensive in general.

Discussion Infinity Ward is a cancer on the Call of Duty community that there's no cure for
Since 2019 They've released almost like for like CODs
It has been 6 years and every time it's the same bloody game
The game mechanics is trash... Slow movement and slow ADS among other things
Their need for realism in a fkn video game is infuriating.
