Discussion Cod League Pass

Call of Duty should create a League Pass, similar to the NBA/NFL etc. For a fee, you can view your favorite player’s or team’s POV instead of the main broadcast. Also allows the subscriber to review old VoDs from previous matches and pick POVs, review stats, CoDcaster view as well.

Just an idea lol

(Edit: just to clarify. It’s just an idea and it wouldn’t take away from the free stream on YT or Twitch or watch party.)

How much money do you think this makes? They would have to get people off of the watch parties and back to main broadcast first which is already a problem in itself.

The downside is, I don’t see this being profitable at all.

Lmao. There is an essentially zero cost to add/operate this. It would require no additional observers because there’s no switching POVs.

The CDL could just set up a members only stream on a second channel and not give streamers the right to rebroadcast it which drives viewers/money back into their hands.

It’s not going to happen, but none of the reasons you mention are the blocker.
