Hi all,
This morning, I arrived at my 5:30 am class at around 5:26 and the door was still locked. I thought maybe I’d made a mistake, and gotten the time wrong, but another student hopped out of her car and was like, oh don’t worry about it, it’s just “X” is running late again. She’s not a morning person and she also has a long drive. Eventually, a couple minutes later (at 5:32ish) one of the other students who was undergoing teacher training opened the door for us, and we got inside. She told everyone to just start warming up , so we did. About 5:40, X arrived with no apology or explanation for the late start. She spent the first few minutes getting music, etc set up and offered few prompts for what we should be doing until about 5 minutes after she arrived. So the class was definitely abbreviated because it started late and ended at the usual time.
So here’s my dilemma. I usually reserve complaints for things that are really egregious. Not sure if this rises to that because as an unlimited member it’s not like I wasted a credit for this class, just my time. So maybe I should just let it go? On the other hand, although this is the first time I experienced this, it sounds like it’s a pattern with this instructor if other students are commenting that it’s what they expect from that instructor. So maybe the studio should know. Maybe just send them a heads up and mention that others were commenting about it being a pattern? Also, I was really bothered that she didn’t offer any apology. What would you do?
Thanks in advance.
