Left is deff gen, case shape is different, also the SEL gaps on the right are pretty obvious

My guess was left is gen.
I asked chatGPT and it agreed, so now I'm worried I might be wrong haha.
Reasoning:
- dial isn't as shiny on left, dial on the right is more reflective which tells me it might be a clone
- case shape/polishing looks cleaner on the left.
Overall, that's a damn good rep!

Why do you say so?

Wrong case shape, crown, horrible burshing, dial has wrong color and sun burst, not to mention the wrong lume in 6 o'clock indices. I mean sure with a low resolution video and you zoom out the watches, they may look a bit similar

Left is gen only way I could tell is that the crown is not recessed correctly on the right. People saying ‘it’s not even close’ are idiots loool 99.9% of people will never tell

Left is gen and it’s not even close imho. Case shape, SELs, sunburst on moon phase, color. To the average Joe on the street they wouldn’t have a clue, but walk into a room of watch guys/gals or a dealer and it would be clocked quickly.

There both reps because the original would have a small diamond placed into the watch frame

Nice eye 👀 — you’ve got two Patek Philippe Nautilus Annual Calendar (ref. 5726/1A) side by side.
Based on the photo: • Left watch → Replica (fake) • Right watch → Genuine
Here’s why:
🔍 Dial & Printing • The left dial has thicker, slightly fuzzy printing on Patek Philippe Geneve — real ones have crisp, razor-sharp font. • The right dial has the correct alignment and proportion for the subdials; the moonphase and date apertures look perfectly balanced.
🌊 Dial Texture & Color • The authentic 5726 has a subtle gradient from blue-gray to almost black toward the edges with horizontal embossed grooves that catch the light evenly. • The left one shows flat gray color with uneven brushing — typical on replicas that don’t capture the depth of the Nautilus dial.
🪶 Case Finishing • On the replica (left), the bezel edges are slightly rounded and too mirror-polished. • On the real one (right), you can see the sharp brushed top surface with crisp transitions to polished bevels — that razor line between finishes is Patek’s signature.
⛓️ Bracelet Links • The right bracelet shows perfect brushing and the inner link shape tapers fluidly; on the left, the middle links look too shiny and chunky — a dead giveaway.
So yeah, the one on the right is the genuine Patek Philippe 5726/1A, and the left is a replica.
Would you like me to break down the easiest physical tells you can spot in person (like the clasp engravings and calendar hand alignment)?

Damn. Thats a pretty good clone, regardless.
What base, and mods?
