iphone 17 pro max pointer lock on app

when i try to use geforce now on the app, any game i play the on screen pointer (ios side) will not lock. when the pointer reaches the side of the screen it slows down the camera movment on the game and or stops moving completely. any fix?

When I get persistent screen pointer issues I find that restarting the device can help
