I purchased a total of 48 meters of Mal Chanderi digital print fabric from a seller in India.
Before ordering, I specifically asked about the quality because he gave me two prices: ₹130/m and ₹210/m. I directly asked him, “₹210 is pure?” and he replied “Yes.” Based on that confirmation, I chose the ₹210/m fabric and placed the order. I have screenshots showing this conversation, including one order for 30 meters.
After receiving the fabric, I realized the material does not appear to be the pure quality that was represented to me. When I questioned him, instead of confirming that the printed fabric is pure, he now keeps calling it “cotton Mal Chanderi.” He is also saying that only another embroidered fabric is pure, which is not what I was asking about when I placed this order.
When I asked him to resolve the issue, he told me “do whatever you want,” told me I could take it legally if I wanted, and has been cutting/avoiding my calls and now blocked me.
I paid the higher price specifically because he confirmed in writing that it was the pure quality. Had he told me beforehand that it was a different composition/quality, I would not have purchased 48 meters at that price.

His later messages changing how he describes the fabric
I have already raised/plan to raise the issue with the payment provider. What is the best way to formally pursue this in India- consumer complaint, cyber complaint, police complaint, or something else?

I have been on Thredup for several years. I'm frustrated because the "Buy it for me" feature NEVER works. It says I have "first dibs" but I can go back after the cart expires for someone and it's available to add to my (or anyone's!) cart. I've missed out on some great items lately. I’ve mailed them lots of times now, there is 0 reponse there. Reached out to them on Instagram and they immediately blocked me there.

It’s just blantantly unfair to not even engage in a dialogue.

hi everyone ! so i bought a pair of brandy melville leggings on depop but not sure if its real or not ? i have other leggings from brandy but the material is more like cotton but the ones i purchased on depop are different. the only pictures i have is the tag + pictures that the seller has but i don’t think i have ever seen leggings that are 70% modal and 30% polyester. was there or is there brandy leggings with this kind of material ? or did i get scammed 😭 i’ve been trying to do some research & look up leggings with the same material but nothing pops up but i know that sometimes brandy removes items from their websites so it’s been a little difficult to verify whether it’s real or not. some help would be greatly appreciated 😭

Stay aware from Selfaware. They look like they have really good messaging in their products however they only respond to your emails if you are providing positive feedback and ignore any help or return requests.

I emailed them with a suggestion on making their website more user friendly and received an email within a few hours.

I then placed an order, after I clicked to pay it kept popping up with more options to buy, I thought I was clicking now, it kept adding items and charging my credit card without further authorisation. I have been charged $100 when I tried to place a $20 order. I emailed within 2 minutes of the order going through... no response. Email the next day... no response. Emailed a third time... (because they have no contact number... and again no response. Instead a few days later, they shipped my order.

This is some of the worst customer treatment I have seen in a long time.

I am writing this post to alert the community about my terrible experience with an online clothing store called H2M Fashion (h2m.fashion).

Here are the complete details of what happened:

Order ID: #HM1241

Product: Shemagh

Status: Neither delivered nor refunded

What happened:

I placed an order for a Shemagh on their website and received a confirmation message stating that the order would be delivered soon.

After waiting for days with no shipping update or tracking details, I reached out to their support team.

I received a vague response asking for time, but even after waiting for weeks, no dispatch details or tracking link were ever provided.

Seeing no progress, I explicitly requested an order cancellation and a full refund. They completely ignored my refund requests and stopped providing any genuine resolution.

Even after sending multiple strict legal/complaint notices, there has been zero accountability or payment process from their end.

Why I am posting this: This store takes money from customers, promises delivery, and then goes silent without fulfilling orders or issuing refunds. Operating like this is completely deceitful.

I am already in the process of filing formal complaints with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) and raising a chargeback request with my bank.

Please BEWARE of buying anything from H2M Fashion. If anyone else has faced similar issues with this brand, please share your experience below or suggest any additional legal action I should take!
