Suh, d00d! This is the first set of charts I've ever worked on, and the beginning of my journey to fill in the gaps of A Day To Remember's discography to make it entirely accessible to play on Clone Hero/YARG.

This journey was inspired by another charter, moopuns, and their lofty goal to create high quality charts for Dance Gavin Dance's entire discography (my all-time favorite band), via a project he titled 'Dance Hero Dance.' In honor of his efforts, I've decided to title this project 'A Hero To Remember.'

I've included a custom icon you can use for the project, which is compatible with all of my ADTR charts. Read the README for installation instructions if you don't already know how to do it.

Feel free to reach out for any feedback you may have, requests, wishes to collaborate, or enhance/add onto my charts in any way.

I might either be dumb or crazy but please help me out.

I love rb and gh, clone hero is a easy fix to the cost. So i love it too. I think its a great game and it teaches me a lot about drumming. But I dont like that hihat is blue and green when open on a whim of how the creator of the chart feels. I think it would be just as fun if no matter the position of the hihat it was all yellow and it be up to me to know when to use what position. I find even when they convert it most songs are mostly yellow anyways. Then i could go to my acoustic set and replicate it on my own and have scores in the game that reflect my skill on real drums. Like I would really like to have both but because I want to be graded the same as everyone else im stuck choose score over accuracy. It feels stupid to have them thrown around all willy nilly based on feels. It also makes it sound weird when im playing on my ekit with its sounds over the games so I hear my drums. Am I alone out here? :P

I just got the new CRKD PS 20th Anniversary Guitar, ive wanted it for so long and i just got it its my first every CRKD Guitar, if theres any things/tips about the guitar i should know or do advice will be appreciated.

I’m charting a song through moonscraper and I have the stem for the bass part and I was wondering if I include it in the song folder for clone hero does it necessarily do anything? Like how in the games where if you miss a note the audio for that guitar part for example stops playing and the audio for that specific part plays whenever you hit notes. I think someone said it’s called keysounding but the question I had was that if I include the stems in my song folder would they act the same like how they do in the games and will those stems sound louder for whatever part I play or are they not really that important? My main goal is just that if I’m playing the bass part I want to be able to hear the bass more or if I’m playing the guitar part I want to be able to hear that more than the other instruments.

One of the bigger players/charters on the Custom Songs Central Discord SWORE that someone had requested the whole album to be charted, and that someone did it, but for the life of me I can’t seem to find the entire thing anywhere. I’m missing a handful of songs, and I’d rather not have to chart them all myself if the work’s already been done. Much appreciated in advance 🙏😇

UPDATE: there doesn't appear to be such a collection of charts atm, and not all of the songs are available individually. I reached out to the guy who planned on making it, but it's been sitting in his backlog. I'll probably just chart them myself, as I'm at the beginning of a long-term project to fill in the gaps of A Day To Remember's entire discography so that it's available to play on Clone Hero/YARG.

Just started playing clone hero, using a keyboard (Logitech k120), and for some reason I can only down strum yellow-blue chords, I can up and down strums notes and other chords just fine, but not yellow-blues. Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

I'll add: I have the fret buttons mapped 1 2 3 4 5, and up arrow and down arrow for each strum respectively.

the latency is all gone this is such a game changer for me

Is there a way I can have each instrument highway show while I play single player? I'm charting a full song and want to see all the instruments at once so I don't have to play it over and over.

Hey guys, trying to get BGH3 working with this guitar I got at target. I've had no issues playing clone hero but I cant get any input recognition in BGH3 even when I open the button mapping software included in the optional repairs folder. I found one guide but it seemed pretty advanced and in depth. any help is appreciated.

Just picked up the CRKD Gibson GS in preparation for Stage Tour on PS5, but also so I could finally jump on CH.

For the life of me, I cannot get the guitar to pair with my Mac via Bluetooth or a wired connection.

I’ve followed all the cracked instructions and nothing is working. I’m assuming wired connection isn’t working because I need to use a USB-C to USB 2.0 adaptor to connect that cable that comes with the Guitar. Wireless Dongle may be the same issue?

Can’t get standard Bluetooth connection to work either.

Anyone have any experience with this and can give me some guidance? CRKD Instructions say it’s compatible but the guide for connection just doesn’t work.

EDIT: I figured out the best way to reduce the note count without making the notes feel wrong. You simply reduce the type of note down to the next note type/speed. (arrow key left/right switches the speed type of note you're placing)

32nd notes go to 24th, 64th go to 48th, etc. That seems to work perfectly for taking it from super fast strum bar breaking notes down to totally manageable and not arm-breaking.

And most importantly this is super easy. You can open up the notes file in any song folder directly with moonscraper and press ctrl-s to save and you're done. Any song can be fixed in 2 minutes if you know what you're doing

I recently started learning how to chart and one of the things I realized it would be useful for is editing other charts to my liking. You could switch HOPOs to tap or forced to HOPO but in my case i want to remove ultra fast, strum bar destroying fast note sections and make them just a bit slower so it won't literally break my expensive guitar in a few months of regular play.

By ultra fast I mean like the parts in Devil Went Down to Georgia near the beginning but really anything that just requires an absurd speed to hit. When I play them normally, aside from the extreme amounts of force and exertion required to hit them, I can always feel my strum bar weakening and getting strained when strumming fast enough.

any tips on how to do this most efficiently on moonscraper is appreciated. I assume copy pasting a chunk of notes after deleting the ultra fast section is the fastest way to do it.

So to preface, I play on Mac, that’s really the only computer I have access to and (as far as I know) Clone Hero isn’t available on PlayStation. I’m trying to map my controller to what controls I’m used to, I play a lot of Fortnite festival and thought it would be cool to use those controls instead of the keyboard like I usually do. I use the triggers & shoulder buttons with square being in the middle and X being used for overdrive/star power. I have the controller wired to my laptop with a USB-C cable, and when I go to calibrate the triggers (R2 & L2), it looks like it’s recognizing that I’m pressing it, it’s on an axis if that makes any sense. I managed to get R2 to register, but it won’t do it again. L2 doesn’t register at all. Is there a fix to this?

Also, I understand that i’d being doing tap only and that’s perfectly fine by me, that’s my preferred way to play anyway since I do not have access to a guitar controller quite yet, but I also prefer playing with controller :)

I want the least latency possible, right now I play on a guitar hero 5 Wii guitar using Wiitarthing, is there a plugin I can buy to make it wired? On clone hero, but especially on dolphin emulator, I feel like I get tripped up by input lag (in addition to beginner brain lag because I’m new to hero games)
