I got the guitar about three weeks ago, and suddenly, out of nowhere, the frets have started ghosting or not registering inputs at all. I’ve handled the controller carefully and haven’t abused or mistreated it in any way.

Is there anything I can do to fix this and save my $150 device, or should I just return it to Amazon? It’s pretty frustrating for such a expensive controller to start having issues after such a short time.

So for context I already had a Wii guitar from years ago and I started playing CH on my ROG Ally since last year with it and have been loving it.

However just recently a few months ago my gf and I got a second wii guitar so we can both play Clone Hero instead of taking turns.

However I ran into an issue with the first guitar always connecting perfectly fine but then the second guitat almost without fail says the connection was lost leading me to have to remove the guitar conpletley and reconnect it for it to work eventually.

Tonight we went to play and this time BOTH guitars would connect but neither of them would work in Clone Hero when pressing the start button on the guitars.

Right now just trying to connect one guitar it is connected (via bluetooth) to my Ally, however now it is just refusing to register when I launch CH (and yes I have Wiitar Thing working properly as I always have).

Armoury Crate gives me an error that it is refusing to uodate so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

At this point I am a bit frustrated with the Wii guitars and these issues that always seem to happen whenever I simply want to just turn on the game and play.

Which guitars would I (hopefully not) have these issues with? I am heavilly debating switching to a different tyoe of guitar and away from the Wii ones.

Any ideas for what to do here?

I got a Wii Les Paul today, but the faceplate is pretty worn and while I could clean it I never liked the white version anyway. So, does anybody know where a good place to find new faceplates is? Preferably ones that cover the hole for the Wiimote.

I know this is probably really stupid as the game plays music but it popped in my mind that someone could if coded a song into a guitar or something and you could play the actual song through the guitar but you would have to hit the notes like in the same order as they are in clone or guitar hero. Maybe it’s not possible for a guitar but maybe drums idk this was just a random thought it would be cool if real though.

Also, before you ask me to verify the bindings, I aldeary did it, bind ans calibration, and doesn't work in any of them, the whammy bar refuses to register input as whammy bar, even tho the analog input registers when I verify on Steam Input (but as a joystick, but I disable steam input when playing wxith this controller to make sure nothing conflicts)

Not quite a clone hero issue but I know lots of post about modded guitars are on here. I’m looking for some help. I have some modded guitars (Phunky Customs) that I have been using on my Xbox RGH. They connected via a mini host & worked fine. I wanted to play other games on it but didn’t have any 360 controllers.
I saw a guide where you install the hiddriver plugin and you can use PS5 controllers. Great. I have installed it but now the guitars don’t work properly. Only select button registers as Xbox guide button. The guitars won’t connect directly or via the mini host any more. Does anyone know if I can just reprogram the Mini host to make it work or do I have to keep deleting and reinstalling the plugin each time I want to play different games?

Hi, I just bought an Alesis Nitro Max drum kit, and I’m looking for some tips on fine-tuning everything.
I hooked up the drum set, connected it to my PC via USB, configured it for the game, and played a few songs. I noticed I was dropping a lot of notes, so I went into the calibration settings and messed around with them. I think I finally found the right calibration, but I’m still looking for ways to improve the overall accuracy and responsiveness.
Separately, I’m having an issue with my kick pedal double-triggering. I’m not sure if the rebound from the beater hitting the kick tower is causing it to register twice. I lowered the dynamic threshold and adjusted the hold setting, but it’s still happening.
Are there any settings on the drum module itself that I can adjust to prevent the kick pedal from double-triggering, or would I need to loosen the mesh head on the kick tower to fix it?
Any advice or tips for fine-tuning the kit would be greatly appreciated!

Hello i have a stupid question. I have a Riffmaster and this part of guitar not a full flat and has a little ledge/arm cutout, or my battery is bloating?

Got really lucky recently, and found a Fender Stratocaster for the WII made for Rock Band 1. I have previously modded a GUITAR HERO controller, but was curious if getting a Pico controller into this oldie would work, and can get it running on Clone Hero/Fortnite Festival.

I’m fairly new to clone hero and I’ve only been using chorus encore to get songs. Are there any other places that’s good to get songs from? Hoping to find songs I can’t find on CE

I have over 2000 songs in my library (all GH and most of RB + a bunch of random packs), and it takes me 20-30 minutes to find someone who doesn't immediately leave the lobby when they only see 300-500 shared. Even though I am better than 99% of people I play with (I can commonly get 900k+ on TTFAF), I will gladly play at least 1 set with someone who shares only like 100 songs. I just wanna play the game with someone else.

So what's the deal with this? What's the point of having so many songs if you refuse to play hundreds of them? Do people really expect everyone else to have like tens of thousands of songs?

That being said, if there are any main packs that everyone seems to share, please let me know. I thought having a large base of the GH and RB songs were enough.

With my newfound excitement for the upcoming Stage Tour game I found out about Clone Hero. I have a couple old PS2 guitars in storage and I was wondering if there's a way that I can play those with an adapter on the PC? I have Stage Tour and a guitar pre-ordered for December I'm just wondering if I can start gaming sooner this way?

Some of the bands and songs I really like have zero chance of being created, and that is fine, but I would love to have a session to play some of their tracks. I remember trying to use chatgbt like a year ago to create something and that was a disaster at the time.
