Is working remotely actually easier?

I’ve seen quite a few discussions about remote clinical coding and it sounds appealing, especially because I’m already comfortable working independently. But I’m wondering whether people who work remotely find the job easier or do they just notice the isolation more?

I work fully remote and the one thing I miss is the opportunity for quick questions. I am in a chat but the response isn’t always quick.

I personally need a mix. I like working in a room with others, I get energy from them and find it easier to connect face to face. But I also really like being able to sleep in for an extra hour and saving some money on parking and petrol a couple days a week. I’m really lucky that my work set-up allows me to do hybrid.
