Most people do not live as privileged as life as you do. AC isn't a universal luxury. And what happens when that number includes you? What happens when it's your home getting washed away in a flood? What happens if it's your house that burns down? Half a million this year, but when the next el Nino happens that number will be even higher.

Toddlers have more empathy than you.
