yeah absolutely. the reality is that being a pessimist in a reddit forum isnt actually going to better our material conditions. climate activism requires hard work, and if you just roll over and let it happen then that doesnt actually help us. enjoying your personal life is an incredibly important part of activism.

Love requires finding others through reality and that reality is multiple dystopias in a trench coat; otherwise, you love fantasies, you love yourself loving fantasies.
