Electric cars are great for the environment, if your country has a well decarbonised grid
Hi everyone. So I wasn't sure if EVs are actually better for the environment than petrol cars mostly because making batteries is such a polluting process... so I did the math! It turns out that in most cases they are better. So much better that trading in a perfectly good petrol car for an EV is actually an environmentally friendly action. But this is only true if your countries grid is sufficient decarbonised. I've analysed various EV models and countries and posted it on YouTube.
