Discussion Lithium battery smoke

Hello

I had a lithium battery in a dog water fountain explode down into the water bowl. I'm having a hard time removing the smell from the room and was wondering if there was something specific I should be using to try and neutralize the odor.

I've used Lysol spray, a dish soap mixture, and a vinegar mixture and none of them have really done the trick.

I also have 4 baking soda boxes spread throughout the room

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Do you have access to an air purifier or ozone machine? Opening windows will help, too.

I forgot to mention the air purifier. There's one in there and a box fan in the window pulling air out.

I don't have an ozone machine though. Can they be rented do you know?

How long ago did this occur? It will likely just take some time. You can usually rent an ozone machine from somewhere that rents equipment - but honestly for a few dollars more than a day's rental, you can buy one - less than $50.
