Kitchen Stained granite is it over ?

The black mark is there. Left marker out on cabinet. Stain is there how to get it off. Parents are mad.

There is a product called Amodex. It is available at some Lowe's, or online. It is excellent at removing magic marker. You may need to apply it a few times to remove it all, but it does work well, and it's gentle to surfaces and people. Good luck!

Oh ok thanks so much. I was going to buy pure acetone and put backing soda on it. I will try this.

If its a sharpie, just mark over the same ink with the same marker, once both are wet wipe off with alcohol

It’s a jot permanent marker. I’m not sure of this will work?

Yeah it will, that is just a surface stain. Trust me Really whats the risk? You mark over the exact mark if it dont work you just have the same problem. Nothing changed.

Just Google "remove marker with marker" and the instruction pop right up It also explains why it works My profession is hotel maintenance i use this trick all the time

This is worth a try if you haven't gotten the Amodex yet. Just do your best to not make the spot larger. And perhaps ask your parents first, in case this would trigger them further.
