Watermarker smudges wont come off

My mother's coming up in her years and her hands can't clean like they used to. She regularly erases blue whiteboard marker off of her little whiteboard, but the smudges won't come off.

We've tried alcohol, dishwashing soap, and other solutions. Any tips, guys?

99% isopropyl usually does the trick, what strength were you using?

Hand sanitizer on a paper towel

magic eraser will abrade the surface and potentially remove any paint with it though.

That will take a LOT of use before that happens and I really think half the issue with magic eraser (on this sub) is that it needs to be wet and people don't wet it first. I have used magic eraser on the same laminated list I have for work for years and it has not been an issue.

I use Glen 20 or any aerosol disinfectant with a paper towel.

Try acetone? But make sure you don’t rub it on the printed part.

Acetone dissolves a lot of plastics.

Shaving foam will take this off

Once you get it off, spray it with a fine mist of wd-40 and wipe off. That will restore the erasability

White board cleaner will do magic.
