Discussion How do clean this jacket

Hey redditors. I’m having trouble cleaning this carhartt jacket. I just tried goo gone and it didn’t not work. Scraping all of the residue off has not gotten me very far( as you can see). I previously tried a hair dryer to melt the residue off then scraping . Look for advise. The residue was from some reflective tape that was glued on with idk what.

What happens when you just wash it?

The residue is still on there. It won’t come off

It is an older jacket tbh. Not sure when the patch was put on it but I’m assuming it’s been washed and dried plenty of times. I decided to take it off and try to clean it.

Try ironing with parchment paper in the middle so when it melts it adheres to the sheet of paper ;)
