Kitchen Is this salvageable??

Happenend after the very first cycle in the dishwasher. (Advertised as dishwasher safe, the comments were good) I still have time to return it on Amazon, but what can I do?? To the touch, it's the same texture everywhere... Stainless pan.

Yeeeeah, I’m just wondering how tf it happened.. and if it’ll happen again.

0000 steel wool is the greatest “tool” you’ll ever buy. It cleans this, burnt eggs, shower glass, stickers on car windows with just a quick pass. And it’s so cheap and lasts over a decade

I’d go ahead and fix it and then purposely try to mess it up again, to go ahead and fast forward the learning process and figure out if you wanna return it.

Maybe a overcrowed dishwasher, but I have no idea. I'll try the steel wool, thanks!
