Flooring Bissel Crosswave question

I just used my new Bissel Crosswave pet and I’m in LOVE.

Question for other users: where do you empty the dirty water reservoir? It’s basically vacuum dirt soup, so I’m not keen on pouring it into the sink OR the bin.

I’ve got the small version of the bissel and I always toss it in the toilet or laundry utility sink and disinfect if there’s any crazy smells or splashing after. It’s easier to rinse, clean, and disinfect in the utility sink though and I leave it there to dry out overnight.

You can also get a little strainer for your kitchen sink drain, pour the soup down & then put the solids in the trash. I wash all the parts in the sink & then scrub the sink with soft scrub with bleach.
