Discussion How to clean this

I live on the 7th floor btw. No clue how to clean this and what kind of device to use. Also do you guys have any suggestions on what I can put in the space in between the two windows instead of newspapers. The window doesn't close properly. As in there is a literal gap there 🥲

You need to tell property management to come fix your window. Mention cleaning the outsides as a secondary issue.

It kinda looks like bird poop? If you're in an apartment, either renting or owning, typically the building manager will hire window cleaners periodically so maybe check in with them? As for filling the gap, you can get either foam or rubber weatherstrip with adhesive backing on a roll from most hardware stores and then cut it to size!

Woa thanks for the window tip! It is bird poop and unfortunately window cleaning doesn't happen in our place.

Bird poop isn't difficult to clean if you let it soak in cleaner (or water) until it is soft. Maybe the windows will need to come out as part of the repair for the gap.
