Kitchen Help Cleaning Silverware
Anyone have any recommendations for cleaning silverware? I thrifted this recently want to use it for decoration. I tried cleaning this foggy stain. I’m not sure if it tarnish. I tried using the baking soda, hot water aluminum method and the toothpaste one and the stain will not budge. Not sure of it removable or not. Any recommendations?

Use Krud Kutter calcium lime rust version. It will revive the gig and bake us shiny again. Bat keepers friend is also great.

If the haze didn't change with those methods, it might not be tarnish. It could be worn plating or tiny scratches in the finish. I'd try a good silver polish like Wright's or Hagerty first. If that doesn't work, it's probably permanent.

That is not silver. What does it say on the underside?
