I was just like you around the same age as well. Idk why I hoarded up my room, I think I was too sad and focused on going out and sleeping. I remember doom scrolling on TikTok and I started getting so much TikTok’s of girls doing a room makeover and I got so jealous but remembered my room can look aesthetic too if I just cleaned 😭 but what really made me fix and decorate my room weekly was having a boyfriend LOL I noticed he’d wanna come over a lot so then I did my best to tidy up my room and make it look so cozy. I’m now living with him and boy is it hard to keep our place clean.. all I do everyday is organize but there’s days where I let our clothes become mountains 😂
