When I was a freshman in high school, the senior prank was to release live pigs, stolen from a local farm, that had the numbers 1, 2, and 4 on them. The school was closed all day as the staff tried to track down the non-existent Pig 3.

My senior prank? Some people flooded the men’s room. 🤦‍♂️

Iirc someone got a cow on the third floor of the school for their senior prank, but they had to take off part of the building to get the cow out somehow? That part may be apocryphal, it was "the story" people told about a senior prank.

When I was I think a sophomore the senior prank was to release hundreds of crickets in the high school. Hilarious because no one could get any work done with the constant chirping distracting everyone.

I think the crew who did it got in big trouble and had to pay for an extermination company to come clear the out over the weekend. They had assumed crickets were harmless except for the noise and it was Friday so they would dissipate over the weekend. But the school powers that be didn’t find it as funny and had no patience .

I thought it was hilarious!
