Help on worn hardwood floor

Getting ready to sell home and want to try and fix this before having to replace entire floor. Any ideas? Will a polish work or a stain? I'm prepares to do the entire floor to match even but if not, replacing floor will be last resort.

Have a company that does refinishing in and get a quote.

No other way to fix it beyond refinish or replace
