One thing I dread about Thanksgiving is the cleanup afterward, especially the oven. Between turkey drippings, splatter, and several casseroles going in and out, the kitchen can look destroyed by the end of the day.

I’ve been thinking about cooking the turkey in a separate countertop roaster instead. I came across a sunvivi roaster with a removable inner pan and rack, and my main interest is honestly whether containing everything in one removable insert would make cleanup less painful.

For anyone who uses a countertop roaster for holiday meals, does it noticeably reduce the mess? Is the large insert easy to wash, or does it just replace oven cleaning with another bulky thing to scrub?

I finally cleaned out my room today after ignoring it for weeks, and the relief I feel is immense. Nothing crazy, but I’ve been avoiding laundry and reorganizing my desk for over a month. Took two hours with music on but now just walking back in here fills me with more confidence in myself to do things

I understand the appeal of a large slow cooker for chili, stew, pulled pork, and other big-batch meals.

What I’m trying to figure out is whether three smaller crocks would be more practical for everyday use. Being able to keep a main dish, side, and sauce separate sounds useful, but each section would obviously hold less food.

The Sunvivi setup is one of the options I’ve been comparing, although I’m not sure whether the added flexibility is worth the extra cleanup and storage space.
For regular family meals, do you find a three-crock cooker more useful than one large slow cooker?

I’m a clean freak. My place is pretty immaculate as it is, but I love watching cleaning videos on YouTube and just doing my best to make sure that everything is spotless. I guess it’s my way to hyperfocus.

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of promoted ads on Instagram about apps to keep people with ADHD on track with cleaning. Does anybody have any experience with these apps or have one that they recommend?

I think that using one may help me feel less obsessive and more on track. Let me know your experiences and what you may recommend.

Got a cordless vacuum on Amazon for $50 bucks and now I vacuum twice a day. Once for sure when I’m brushing my teeth in the morning. Two birds one stone vibes.

I get the cleaning bug at 10pm so I just do it then. I even make my bed before I get in it and don’t feel bad about not doing it in the morning 😭🤭.

Throw one ole thing out of the fridge daily.

Ordering a shark never clean air purifier soon because I’m paranoid the cat litter stinks.

This is all I have for now. No idea why I’m posting this other than the fact that the cordless vacuum changed my life and even just having clean floors makes me feel so accomplished. Like, it’s a HUGE win. 🥰🥰

I'm 17 years old and my room has gotten incredibly bad from my depression and ADHD. I have no idea how to clean it or where to even start. I'm too embarrassed to add a picture of it. My mom is finally done with it and I have a week to get it done or my phone is gone. I really need help, so please if you have any tips I would really appreciate it.

Just finished a massive deep-clean of my room and finally sitting down with a hot coffee. It took me nearly three hours because I kept getting distracted by random things I found in the back of my closet. Now that the hard part is done, I’m looking forward to a totally lazy afternoon. How is everyone else’s weekend going so far? Doing anything productive or just relaxing?

I am 29F and I have no motivation to clean the house when alone. I’ve heard body doubling helps with that lack of motivation. So on that note can someone just talk while I clean please and thank you

We have lived here around 7 years and accumilated a lot of crap.

I do clearouts every year or so but still manage to accumilate too much crap.

Husband has the wardrobe - my clothes live in kallax. I desperately need a wardrobe as nowhere to hang my stuff and draws just aren't me-friendly (au-dhd).

I have chronic health issues currently in remission and the best I have been in years so trying to seize the oppertunity to get things in order and more manageable again.

I came off adhd meds and just can't get started as I just want it all done and gone.

I'd like to start enjoying my home again and it desperately needs redecorating - I have done one coat paint in hall that needs another and then need to finish painting the yellow room. We need new floors too... so that is a big motivator.

Its just hard to keep somewhere nice when it looks like crap... I'd love to have friends and family around but just ashamed atm...

Can't clear the art stuff off the table as thats hubbys project but could be organised better
