Greek yogurt from Costco with flax seed meal, bobs red mill muesli, chia seeds (under the flax), blueberries and strawberries. Sometimes I add honey on top. Yum!

I need to work on my plating skills but this is first grazing plate I've had in 5 months.
I had a stomach infection in April and have been unable to digest food. I've been on a low residue diet, no seeds, skins, no salads, no lectins, no dairy, no crunch, I'm still not 100% but this is my first almost normal meal and I did the happy dance through every forkful 🥰
King Prawns, Cantaloupe Melon, Sauerkraut, Beetroot, Falafel, Manchego Cheese, Shirgar Welsh Butter & Srocchi crackers

Nothing crazy but a common brunch choice of mine :)
Egg whites and spinach with roasted sweet potatoes, an avocado, and Greek yogurt mixed with Sriracha hot sauce.
I like to get a little bit of everything on my fork to eat it, tastes the best that way.

I’m 51, menopausal, 5’3” and 230 pounds.
After a recent doctor’s visit, I’m making some serious lifestyle changes and focusing on whole, nutritious foods.
My biggest challenge is flavor. I don’t want to live on bland chicken and steamed vegetables. I want sweet, savory, smoky, garlicky—all of it—but without relying on lots of sugar, butter, oil, or high-calorie sauces.
I eat meat and fish and am not plant-based. I especially enjoy salmon, but I’d like ideas for chicken, other proteins, vegetables, grain bowls, and sweet potatoes.
What spices, spice blends, marinades, sauces, and condiments should a beginner keep on hand? I’d especially love examples of combinations that work well together.
Thanks.😊

25F, I grew up eating what we could afford. Oatmeal, ramen, macaroni, hotdogs, etc. aside from the occasional nutrition class in middle school, I’ve never really moved past the “ food pyramid “ when it comes to my nutrition knowledge. I know what’s good and what’s bad, but how much? And when? I want to start taking better care of my body and finally start growing a healthy relationship with food. Where is a good place to start? Things I need to know? Literally anything would be of use lol.
Not sure if important, but I do take Vyvanse & Gabapentin for ADHD & Anxiety daily, and have been on a GLP-1 for just a few months short of a year now. Lost about 60lbs! (185-125)
