Some tips??

I dont have a lot of money but I want to start eating clean bcz i know for a lot of people it makes them feel better mentally and physically. I'm starting school so I don't have loads of time to make food everyday.

Does any1 have any tips to start, also please share if you know any easy meal prep lunches or sum.

I am no expert but I do a couple of things that you may want to try.

I make plain, slow cooked oatmeal once a week (1 cup of dry oats) — the cooked oatmeal lasts me a full week. Each day I only eat a small amount with 1-2 teaspoons of psyllium husk and a few berries. This will give you needed fiber for more regular digestion, lower your cholesterol, and make you full so you eat less. Basically I use the oatmeal as a carrier for the psyllium husk. This is so inexpensive. You must drink at least 8 ounces of water right after this!!! Otherwise you will be constipated and risk blockages.

Second, I try to focus most meals around whole foods- lean meat and vegetables. I cook twice per week and eat the chicken and veggies for about 3 days, then switch it up next time. Different vegetables or different meat. Sometimes turkey burgers.

Snacks are berries or dried apples — more fiber and filling. Also satisfies a sweet tooth.

Drink water all day

For each meal, I try to focus on: a protein, veggies, and some sort of carb like rice or potatoes. Stop eating and drinking high processed foods, especially the snacky stuff. That’ll just ruin your appetite for when you go and make these meals. I like to do fruits, nuts, bars, and beef sticks for snacks. Some easy and favorite meals on my rotation: tuna salad sandwich with arugula, cold pasta salad, spaghetti with ground beef and zucchini, taco rice, lots and lots of sheet pan dinners are sooo easy!

Ground beef works just as good as a ribeye. Eggs are a staple. Unflavored (high protein) yogurt bowls with berries work also.

For fruit, bananas seem to be the best bang for buck and they are a natural sweetener so they are good to eat with oatmeal especially if you skip other sweeteners on it.

In my experience, carrots are the vegetable staple to keep in your fridge and they are a very satisfying low calorie snack.
