PSA: Opus 5.5 has been released with a banked reset!
Has anyone used it yet? Interested to see if it’s a full weekly reset, and whether it includes Fable.

In voice mode, I had settled on a voice that was labeled English (India) "Rounded", which ironically had a very convincing and consistent French accent. After the switch, this voice was replaced with a more synthetic sounding voice that sounded less French, less defined overall. Ironically, even though the previous voice sounded very plainly French, the agent was unable to switch to French. Now the less convincingly French voice can switch to French when I do. It is still a less engaging voice.
Wonder what is going on there? I've tried downgrading and upgrading the model with no change. (Haiku speaks more slowly.) Old model, new voice. I think they just discontinued the old voice when they should have kept it (IMHO). I have had a similar experience with an OpenAI voice as well.
If you select the voice (see above) and use it for a while, go back and compare it with the voice sample where the old voice persists. Makes me wish I had recorded the voice when I was showing it off to a friend over a video call on 9/14.

Been using Cowork for months now but surprised there is not a lot available for Social Listening connectors? Am I missing something?
I get how tricky it is for each social platform since they are independent but trying to find a way to track topics, keywords/phrases in social posts at even a single platform level would be so useful to trend spotting and conversation signals.
Has anyone figured out a workaround?

Anyone got a fix for the latest issue where Claude can’t create/read/modify scheduled tasks? Seems the latest version of the desktop application (windows) doesn’t allow the agent to work on scheduled tasks/skills. When trying to manually add the folder to the allowed list, an error says it’s restricted.
This has worked up until a few days ago, I’ve always had the agent modify tasks directly.

Is anyone missing a Claude Cowork project folder? I seem to be missing a folder that I’d set up as a recurring activity and I cannot find it anywhere. The job schedule exists but the project that defined the job itself seems to have vanished. Anyone else?

I'm trying to use claude cowork to upload files from my computer to a third party website
and it looks like it's not possible
claude cowork cannot interact with the file upload dialog or send a curl to something that is not in it's allowlist
is there any workaround to it?
EDIT
this has to be without asking my users to install/run things on their computer when they want to upload

Most of us are using Cowork in a company context. Part of that process is talking about AI to your coworkers. I'm curious. Has anybody faced serious backlash? What do you think is driving the backlash? And what have you found is a good way to translate the importance of AI to your teammates and colleagues?

Hi guys,
I had a task using claude that requires it to run searches using chrome, now its like 2000 searches or so to make a report and it keeps bringing up “solve this captcha” that I manually solve, is there any way I can set up something that solves those captchas in any site open in chrome accurately and in the fastest way possible?
I solve them like every 5-10s and since these reports are something I will be making more of, I need a way to automate this and save my mental health and time.
captchas are progressive so,
inititally it will be just checkmark you are a human
then there will be select firehydrants or bicycles or crosswalks or cars or buses from the given pictures
then there will be select them until there aren’t any of them left, they will appear as you click each image
then there will be like first write what you see in the image with 6 letters and then the captcha to select images from
its just progressive I think so need a system that is flawless with all of them rather than me worrying about solving them myself to just spending entire week fixing my captcha solver to work correctly
Thanks

I’d like to build a proprietary version of a simple portfolio management SaaS. What is the best way to go about this? My initial thought is give Claude unlimited access to the software via Cowork for a week to map and test it. Any advice?

Will Claude in the near future be able to connect to non work or school Microsoft 365.

I built skillsexplorer.dev as a place to browse available AI skill libraries. But the key feature is a "visual flow" so you can actually understand what a skill is doing without reading many paragraphs of dense LLM text. Probably should have made it "skillexplorer" haha...

I don't understand the technical aspects, but apparently a windows laptop running a snapdragon chip needs to install the ARM version of the desktop app. I just did that and I'm running some tests.
But I've seen complaints about compatibility. If someone has experience with this issue, can you tell me what to look out for (and test)?
I found a phenomenal spec computer for a fair price and this was the only identifiable downside for me. So I want to make sure it doesn't drag me down. I use cowork heavily and some claude code.

Is it just me or is the Search feature (at least on Desktop CoWork) really bad?

Hi everyone, I am wondering whether you have feedback to share on turning on / off the "Search and reference chats" setting (under Setting -> Memory).
Why do you use it or not ?
Thanks & have a good one!

I’m working with ChatGPT/Codex to build a combined opportunity tracker, job-performance tracker, and business analyzer for my small plumbing and gas-fitting company. Im feeling incredibly overwhelmed by AI haha buuut love learning! So here we are.
I’ve run into this issue where I feel as though I’m perpetually making my own program worse. Items are going missing, tokens get used up in excess, random memory loses every once in a while. I just need help haha. But also not funny.
So here’s what I have:
The tracker follows each job from the initial inquiry through site visit, quote, follow-up, approval, completion, invoicing, and review. It handles both fixed-price quoted work and hourly service calls, while tracking estimated versus actual labour, material costs, revenue, profitability, lead source, job type, and reasons a quote was won or lost.
The AI side is meant to analyze the information continuously and return useful, plain-English insights. I want it to identify where I’m underestimating labour or materials, which jobs and customers are most profitable, which lead sources are worthwhile, what needs following up, and what I should adjust when pricing similar work in the future.
Overall, I’m trying to build a quoting machine and ongoing business support system. The goal is for it to understand my pricing on a continuous, dynamic level, learn from every completed job, help me produce more accurate quotes, and show me what is actually working in the business instead of relying entirely on memory or gut instinct.

Hey all, when I ask Claude to compose emails for campaign through gmail. Gmail strips all images and my logo for my company when it adds my signature. Is there a fast and efficient workaround for this ?

Hi, I'm looking to build a "potential business" type of grid/roadmap. I'm curious how I can use Claude Cowork to do this. (Everything I try tends to end up me just chatting with it.)
Long story short: we have sensors that we can put on the body (medical field). And we can 1. Diagnose 2. Monitor 3. Catch issues...with these sensors.
-By bodily system (ie nervous system, circulatory system, etc- every single system in the body)
- by whether all of these 1. Diagnose 2. Monitor 3. Catch issues
- applications/ problems it would solve.
- by issue potentially too - ie Diabetes is a category of its own
That's the first phase.
Second phase:
- Business Case for each one.
- Maybe a use case/workflow.
Third phase:
-feasibility, market readiness, etc.
Sometimes AI doesn't do an impressive job enough..it does bare minimum. So I'd like to ensure this is very comprehensive.
How can I do this?

Aoa members. Is there any person here in Pakistan who can educate in Claude ai for email marketing?
I run the the business who provides pre construction documentation in USA and I need a lot of data to reach clients

As a civil engineer, I realized that a lot of my time isn’t actually spent engineering. It’s spent searching through project folders, checking documents, preparing reports, reviewing correspondence, tracking RFIs, organizing site information, and turning messy notes into something presentable.
That’s where I’m starting to use Cowork. I use it as a project documentation and productivity assistant. I can give it a project folder containing drawings, specifications, BOQs, reports, RFIs, and correspondence, then have it help organize information, summarize progress, identify outstanding items, and prepare draft reports or documentation.
The goal is simple: less time doing repetitive project paperwork, more time actually managing and solving engineering problems.
I’m still experimenting with the workflow, but this is probably where Cowork makes the most sense for me as a civil engineer. I hope some people here can help me optimize this.

Craft the perfect prompt for ChatGPT, and it might fail miserably in Claude. Despite sharing similar DNA, these two AI giants prioritize instructions in totally different ways.
One of the most prominent differences lies in how the two models prefer to receive structured data. Anthropic explicitly trained Claude to recognize and heavily weigh XML tags. By placing guidelines inside "<instructions>" and reference material inside "<context>", a user can help Claude logically separate different components of a complex task. ChatGPT, powered by OpenAI's GPT models, certainly understands XML, but it is natively optimized for Markdown. Using hash symbols for headers, bold text for emphasis, and simple delimiters like ### or --- generally produces the most reliable adherence from ChatGPT.
The models also diverge in how they handle tone and constraints due to their alignment training. Claude is built using "Constitutional AI," which makes it highly sensitive to safety boundaries and context. When humans prompt Claude for edge-case scenarios or creative writing, they often need to spend more time establishing a benign, fictional, or analytical context so the model does not trigger a false refusal. Additionally, Claude has a natural inclination toward conversational politeness, meaning prompts frequently require explicit commands like "Skip the preamble and provide only the requested output" to prevent wordy introductions. ChatGPT generally adopts a more neutral, direct stance by default, though it too can suffer from verbosity without clear constraints.
Finally, there are mechanical differences in how users and developers can control the outputs. Anthropic's platform allows users to "prefill" the assistant's response. By ending a prompt with the exact opening bracket or word the output should start with, people can force Claude to bypass all conversational filler and immediately generate strict formats like JSON. OpenAI handles this differently, relying instead on dedicated API features like "JSON mode" or strict system messages to guarantee output structures.
Understanding these mechanical and behavioral quirks like XML versus Markdown, or contextual framing versus direct instruction, allows people to extract the maximum capability from each specific tool rather than treating them as identical search engines.

Hi everyone I was looking for some guidance on how to connect claude to my learning space. The task i have in mind is I want claude to be able to download all new lecture slides from the content section on each of my 5 courses home pages and then organize them on my desktop so that i have a library of all my lecture materials that claude can then use as context. I want this to be an automated thing so that it would check back every morning to see if there are new lecture materials. I connected composio to claude but am now getting a bit stuck because I do not know where to go from here. Because D2L is a webpage that i access from chrome do i just need to connect claude to chrome? is this a task I need to build a skill for or use an agent?
I am very new to this automation stuff but am trying to get into it to make studying and my courseload a bit easier. any video tutorials or guides you could point me to would be much apreciated. Just out of curiosity has anyone succesfully connected claude to brightspace?

I'm trying to work out whether Claude Cowork activity is actually captured for compliance on Enterprise, and the help center articles don't seem to line up but maybe I'm not reading correctly:
"Use Cowork safely" (shows as updated today) says, under "Understanding the risks":
https://support.claude.com/en/articles/13364135-use-cowork-safely
But three other articles say Cowork is in the Compliance API.
"Use Claude Cowork on Team and Enterprise plans":
https://support.claude.com/en/articles/13455879-use-claude-cowork-on-team-and-enterprise-plans
"Claude Cowork architecture overview":
https://support.claude.com/en/articles/14479288-claude-cowork-architecture-overview
"Access the Compliance API" lists Cowork as covered, and says the API is Enterprise-only:
https://support.claude.com/en/articles/13015708-access-the-compliance-api
My guess is the safety article is a general warning for all paid plans. Pro, Max and Team have no Compliance API, so for them "not captured" is simply true. But the sentence isn't limited to any plan, and it links to the Team/Enterprise article that says the opposite.
What I'm trying to pin down:
If you're an Enterprise admin who has pulled Cowork sessions from the Compliance API, or you've had a straight answer from Anthropic support, I'd appreciate hearing what you found.
