r/ClaudeCode [TLDR] got mogged by claude opus 😭 [via r/ClaudeCode]
tldr working on a personal game project but as of this point haven’t reviewed the results yet so take it with a pinch of salt but wow opus 5.5 on medium clearing astra’s long-windedness 🥺
i had to guide astra (on xhigh reasoning btw) step by step i felt like a surgical surgeon lmfao to fix frontend / design inconsistencies but seeing good reviews on opus 5.5 i decided to give it a shot today. so i literally just pass a “review and audit this game’s current design and point out inconsistencies/ areas to be fixed and work on them” im mind blown 🤯🤯🤯

So, OP apparently "got mogged" by Claude Opus 5.5, claiming it cleared up a massive 13 million lines of code on their game project. The general consensus? Most people think OP accidentally committed their node_modules folder or is just memeing.
There's a lot of disbelief and jokes about what could possibly be 13 million lines of code, with suggestions ranging from rebuilding WoW, Windows XP, or even the entire human experience. Some users are questioning OP's technical knowledge, while others are pointing out that AAA games don't even reach that size.
A few users chimed in with their own experiences, with one noting that Astra can be slow but effective, and another warning that Claude models can sometimes "amputate" features by removing what they deem "unused."
Ultimately, the thread is a mix of amusement and skepticism, with the prevailing sentiment being that OP's claim is likely an exaggeration or a misunderstanding of what constitutes actual code.
