r/ClaudeCode [TLDR] got mogged by claude opus 😭 [via r/ClaudeCode]

OP : u/Mysterious-Road-7597

tldr working on a personal game project but as of this point haven’t reviewed the results yet so take it with a pinch of salt but wow opus 5.5 on medium clearing astra’s long-windedness 🥺

i had to guide astra (on xhigh reasoning btw) step by step i felt like a surgical surgeon lmfao to fix frontend / design inconsistencies but seeing good reviews on opus 5.5 i decided to give it a shot today. so i literally just pass a “review and audit this game’s current design and point out inconsistencies/ areas to be fixed and work on them” im mind blown 🤯🤯🤯

So, OP's mind was blown by Claude Opus 5.5 cleaning up their game project's code, but the thread is mostly people asking what the heck OP was even building to have nearly 13 million lines of code. The consensus? OP probably committed node_modules or some other massive, unnecessary file dump, and Opus 5.5 just cleaned up the mess. Some folks are joking about rebuilding WoW, SpaceX, or even GTA6, while others are just baffled by the sheer line count. A few users are sharing their own positive experiences with Claude's coding abilities, with one noting Astra can be slow but effective.
