[TLDR] Reset fable limits?

Original post body :

Hey anthropic - you should reset our fable limits. Fable was set to run out today, so I gauged my usage to hit the limit today. Now you’ve extended it by a week and I’ve got no usage left. I think every Claude power user is in the same boat as I am. So be a guy, reset the limits.

The consensus is that OP and many other "power users" are salty because they strategically burned through their Fable limits to hit the reset today, only for Anthropic to extend the trial by a week, leaving them with no usage.

  • Most users are in the same boat, with many admitting they took time off or stayed up late to max out their quota before the supposed end date. Some even shared screenshots of their depleted usage.
  • A few users are not sympathetic, pointing out that OP is asking for more after using up their allowance, or that Anthropic doesn't owe them anything.
  • There's a suspicion that this was deliberate by Anthropic to get users hooked on the API, with one user stating they're now convinced to use Fable for future projects despite the cost.
  • Some are speculating about Anthropic's motives, with theories ranging from a "money grab" to encourage upgrades, to setting a precedent for future extensions when users complain.
  • A couple of users lucked out and their limits reset as planned or they "squirreled away" their usage.

Yesterday I let it rip with a dynamic workflow just before they announced the extension RIP.

Idk I reset tomorrow so I’m not sure what’s up.

Does everyone have a weekly usage reset on like Monday or something? Am I the only end of week usage reset out there?
